‘RHOBH’: Garcelle Beauvais Says Life Is Too Full, Doesn’t Need A Man

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Garcelle Beauvais is opening up about her love life — or lack thereof. She doesn’t need a man anymore. The actress is booked and busy. Garcelle not only appears on the Bravo series, but she also co-hosts the daytime talk show, The Real.

Her acting career is still hot as well. Her next project scheduled for this year is a television film called Caught in His Web. The movie is about three girls who are tortured by a cyberbully who stalks and harasses them and tries to get them to send lewd photos. Garcelle made time out of her schedule for an exclusive photoshoot and interview with People magazine.

The 55-year-old admits she feels pressure to do it all. Garcelle Beauvais won’t cave into the pressure. She’s not in a rush to jump into a relationship at this time of her life. The reality star noted that her life is already full.

Garcelle Beuvais glows in new photoshoot

On Wednesday, April 6, People published the photos and accompanying interview with Garcelle Beauvais. In one of the shots, she wears an animal print blouse with brown leather shorts. She looks at the camera with a big smile on her face. The Bravo star has a glow and you can sense it in the photos.

In the latest issue, she talked about her new memoir titled Love Me As I Am, which is out now. Garcelle reveals more about her life in the book. She felt that the project was therapeutic.

As for her personal life, she’s not in a rush to settle down. Garcelle feels content with where she’s at. She doesn’t see the need to have it all. Instead, she’s living her life on her own terms.

“I have such a full life,” Garcelle Beauvais revealed in the new interview with People. “I don’t just want to bring anybody in as a seat filler. I really want it to be the person. I feel like we put so much pressure on women to have a man, be married, have kids. Can we just live our lives?”

RHOBH star talks about her difficult divorce

Garcelle Beauvais ended her marriage to ex-husband Mike Nilon in 2011. She found out that he was having an affair. Garcelle and Mike share 14-year-old twins Jax and Jaid. She admits that it was painful and confusing at the time.

“I was so angry, and hurt and confused,” Garcelle Beauvais said. “With the betrayal, I thought, ‘Was I not enough?’ But then I realized that it wasn’t about me at all.”

The television personality chose not to stay married “is because I didn’t want to change my spirit.” She didn’t want her kids to grow up “with a mom who has so much angst.” Garcelle is also the mom of her 31-year-old son Oliver. Nowadays, she has a new lease on life and has a lot to show for it.
