Netflix ‘Somebody Feed Phil’ Back For Season Five, From Oregon To Spain And In-Between
Feeling hungry? Producer-turned-media star Phil Rosenthal is the perfect culinary maestro to take you worldwide for delicious food, mirth, and a bit of history in Somebody Feed Phil, back for Season 5 on Netflix.
Rosenthal is considered one of Hollywood’s biggest producers (Everybody Loves Raymond). His love of eating and natural charisma have turned this series into a global travelogue where his own family has been included.
Sadly, his mother Helen and father Max are no longer with us, but for several seasons was the bookend to the show where Phil would video chat with them to share his adventures. Their reactions were priceless, and now Phil’s brother Rich Rosenthal is the producer behind the camera.
Host Phil Rosenthal’s season five destinations include the two American Portlands—Maine and Oregon—plus Oaxaca, Helsinki, and Madrid.

In addition, the show nabbed two Critics Choice Real TV Award nominations for Best Travel/Adventure Show, winning the category in 2020. This series, at its core, is a fun platform for the brothers Rosenthal to celebrate the good things in life and the connectivity of food via a shared meal. It is also a Trojan Horse for the Rosenthals to present each city they visit so that you will be salivating to book a trip after you view the episode.
It’s a wholesome show made for the world’s eaters where fellowship and fabulous food connect at a simple table, a true insider’s chef show that illuminates, educates, and mostly entertains. And mostly, you will wonder where this lanky Phil Rosenthal puts all these calories he consumes.
