According to TMZ, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker decided to get married at a Las Vegas chapel. They didn’t want to have a lavish ceremony. Kourtney’s decision may come as a shock to her mom Kris Jenner, who loves to plan her daughters’ weddings. She may have hoped it would take place on their new Hulu series, The Kardashians.

Insiders told TMZ that Kourtney and Travis arrived at the the chapel at 1:30 a.m. on Monday, April 4. This was just hours after Travis performed live on stage at the Grammys. The couple didn’t want anyone to take photos without their consent. Instead, they brought along their own photographer and security team.

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker already have a marriage license. They showed it to the chapel’s owner, who was also a witness. They also had one special request: for an Elvis impersonator to officiate the wedding. Elvis Presley declared Kourtney and Travis husband and wife.

It’s not your typical Kardashian-style wedding. They wanted to do it Vegas style. Yet, this won’t be their only wedding celebration. Sources told TMZ the couple has “several” other ceremonies planned, including a big one involving both of their families.
