Kourtney Kardashian No Prenup With Travis Barker Yet?
Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker just tied the knot in a late-night ceremony after the Grammy awards. Though the two are madly in love they are both worth a lot of money. So did they enter marriage with a prenup or did that fall by the wayside?
Kourtney Kardashian Falls Head Over Heels
Fans of the Kardashian-Jenner family have seen the girls fall in and out of love. As for their eldest daughter, Kourtney, her main love was always Scott Disick. They seemed to have a great romance despite facing some heavy ups and downs. The two had the ultimate reconciliation after Kourtney discovered she was pregnant with their first child, Mason. They went on to have two more children, Penelope and Reign but realized they just could not work it out. Eventually, Kourtney went on to date Younes Bendjima for four years but that ended in 2020. In early 2021, she stepped out with drummer Travis Barker.
Barker had a high-profile marriage to model and reality star Shanna Moakler with whom he had two children, Landon and Alabama. Apparently, Kourtney and Travis had known each other for a while despite people feeling they were mismatched. The duo was spotted displaying PDA everywhere they went and by October of 2021, they were engaged. Their children meshed and it seemed they had never been more in love. A wedding was in question as to when it would happen. In a shock to everywhere, they eloped in Las Vegas in the middle of the night.
Did They Or Didn’t They?
Rumors have been swirling for a while that Kourtney Kardashian is pregnant with Travis Barker’s baby. In a clip from the new Kardashian show on Hulu, they are shown looking into IVF treatments. After the Academy Awards, there was even more speculation based on Kourtney’s dress. Now, the two have made their love official, getting married in a Las Vegas chapel late Sunday night/early Monday after the Grammys. Originally, they were said to have had a marriage license in hand with the ceremony officiated by Elvis. Now, a source close to the couple is telling TMZ they did not actually have a license. Therefore, the validity of the marriage is up in the air.
What is even more up in the air is if they had a prenup. If the wedding was as planned as it seems and they did have a marriage license, they would have thought ahead. Ahead as in financially. Allegedly, the two had been working on a prenup but had not finished the details just yet. Without anything signed, they could each be entitled to each other’s money. Travis is worth around $50 million while Kourt is worth an estimated $65 million. Luckily, they can rush home and get a postnup which is not as secure but still will protect them.
