News, Peacock, Streaming, WWE

WWE NXT 2.0 delivered Stand and Deliver on Saturday during Wrestlemania weekend at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. In the main event, Dolph Ziggler defended his NXT Championship against former champion Bronn Breakker. The North American Championship was on the line in a Fatal 5-Way Ladder Match. The men’s and women’s tag titles were also defended in two hard-hitting contests. NXT legend Tommaso Ciampa had his final NXT match and did it against Tony D’Angelo. Here are 3 must-see moments from WWE NXT Stand & Deliver, plus full results from the show.

WWE NXT: 3 Must-See Moments

Tommaso’s last stand
In recent months, there’s been heavy speculation that Tommaso Ciampa would be leaving WWE NXT. Once the rumors got started, Ciampa became the NXT Champion, though it was short-lived. Heading into Stand & Deliver, Ciampa’s future was a big question. Ciampa and D’Angelo went face to face, but in the end, the Italian Don got the win. The Blackheart in Ciampa embraced the crowd before meeting Triple H on the entrance ramp. The two embraced as Triple H rose the hand of the former 2-time champion to the approval of the crowd.

Grimes goes to the moon
Cameron Grimes has been a top act in WWE NXT for over a year ever since he was linked to the Million Dollar Man. Since then, Grimes has become a fan favorite despite being on the losing end of various title matches. After an intense high-spot extravaganza, Grimes was able to finally achieve his dream. Grimes climbed the ladder and took hold of the North American Championship to become the new titleholder.

Ziggler’s shocking upset
When Dolph Ziggler appeared on WWE NXT earlier this year, many questioned why he was even part of the brand. The consensus was that Ziggler was being used to enhance the younger stars of the show, however, that narrative was switched. Ziggler defeated champions Bron Breakker and Tommaso Ciampa and became the new champion. With Stand & Deliver approaching, the easy money bet seemed to lead to Breakker getting the title back. In the main event on Saturday, Ziggler withstood Breakker’s attack and shocked the WWE Universe with a victory to defend his championship.
