When Calls The Heart Season 9 At Halfway Point
This episode, “Hope Valley Days: Part 1” is the seventh episode of the season, ushering in the second half of the season with a lot of crowd scenes. Moreover, if this is entitled “Part 1,” that would mean “Part 2” could be the next episode.
Mayor Hickam Has A Message For Hope Valley
Mayor Hickam speaks to the people of Hope Valley. He is upbeat and charismatic. Moreover, he has an agenda to bring more hope and joy back to this town.
This is not ordinary speech. The Mayor has a horn section, and he seems to be digging the music! Hickam is clapping his hands and moving to the music. However, the townsfolk are looking to the right. What is happening there?
It must be raining. Looks like the umbrellas are up, and the folks are still there for the Mayor’s speech.
Here is a glimpse of Hope Valley Days at night. The banner is up, there is a huge bonfire, and everyone is outside.
Here, Dr. Faith Carter (Andrea Brooks) stands alongside the Mayor, with the Infirmary sign. What is happening here? In the background are Joseph (Viv Leacock) and Minnie (Natasha Burnett) Canfield.
Lucabeth Going Strong In When Calls The Heart Season 9, Episode 5
Here is a beautiful photo of Elizabeth, Little Jack (Hyland Goodrich), and Lucas (Chris McNally). Moreover, that little Hyland Goodrich has been a heart stealer this season. This is is his first acting role.
Here is a beautifully tender moment between Elizabeth and Lucas.
Not Everything In This Episode Is Fun
The photos from this When Calls The Heart episode include two of Henry (Martin Cummins) and Lucas. Based on the photos, this is definitely a private conversation. The first photo shows the saloon owner looking quite somber. What is Henry telling him? Lucas has some sort of notebook opened up, in front of him.
In the second photo, Henry looks at Lucas as if he is expecting an unpleasant response. They are clearly not mad at each other but seem to be concerned about something outside of their control.
In addition, there are no people around. Did they quietly meet up during Mayor Hickam’s speech? This seems likely, as neither are in the crowd scenes watching the speech.
In addition, bright light is coming in from the windows, so this is during the day. Maybe even before the saloon is open. Despite the mayor’s promise of happier times in Hope Valley, it seems that Henry and Lucas are dealing with a negative situation.
Mei Sou In When Calls The Heart Episode
The normally smiling Mei Sou (Amanda Wong) looks like she is facing something very serious here. What will happen to the “fugitive” in this episode?
The Coulters Shine In When Calls The Heart Episode
Rosemary (Pascale Hutton), and Leland (Kavan Smith) Coulter seem to be looking very happy in this episode. It is not clear if Lee has found his place as a journalist.
It looks like Lee and Rosemary are dressed up as Caesar and Cleopatra. Could Leland be sporting some eye makeup? Is this for a play, promotion, or most romantic couple contest?
It looks like Lee and Rosemary are working in their dress-up costumes. Were they interrupted by a breaking news story? Why are they in the office and not at a party or on stage?
The couple at the Mayor’s speech. We cannot forget that Lee lost to Hickam.
Looks like the Coulters and the Canfields may be socializing in this episode.
More Groups Scenes In When Calls The Heart Episode
There appears to be some sort of production here. The Hope Valley children are in awe.
A lot of Hearties missed Allie Grant (Jaeda Lily Miller) in the early episode of When Calls The Heart Season 9. She is back!
Mei and Allie have a conversation. Are they talking about Nathan (Kevin McGarry)?
Dr. Faith Carter and Molly (Johannah Newmarch) seem to be enthralled and entertained by the Mayor’s speech.
More photos from the crowd, including Ned (Hrothgar Mathews) and Flo (Loretta Walsh), watching the speech. Everyone has a smile on their face. What Mayor Hickam is saying is certainly inspiring them!
One Photo Of Nathan In When Calls The Heart Season 9, Episode 7 Photos
There is only one photo of Nathan or Bill Avery (Jack Wagner) in this batch of photos. Bill has a look of chagrin on his face. As for the Mountie, his face looks rather expressionless.
Like the photos of Henry and Lucas, it seems that there are a few Hope Valley members that are feeling a little uneasy right now. Is the Mayor in over his head?
Does When Calls The Heart Episode Take Place During Halloween?
Could Hope Valley be celebrating Halloween during this episode? Lee’s business HQ Hearties, you will have to watch!
