‘Bringing Up Bates’: Evan Stewart Shares Big Dreams For Baby Boy
Bringing Up Bates star Evan Stewart is very excited to have a little boy in his family now. He shared with fans all about the big dreams he has for his son. It sounds like the baby boy has a bright future ahead with Evan as his dad. Stick around to learn what Evan has in mind for his son.
Carlin Bates & Evan Stewart’s family has grown!
On social media on Sunday, March 27, Carlin and Evan revealed that their son has arrived! The pair shared a couple of photos with their new addition. So far, they haven’t shared his name or too many other details. But on Monday, Evan hopped online to tell Bringing Up Bates fans what’s ahead.

In a new Instagram post on Monday, March 28, Evan shared a snap of his wife in labor. The clip he captured shows Carlin in quite a bit of pain. He explained, “When you don’t get your epidural till you’re 8 cm and you’re feeling all the contractions!”
Then, in his caption, he praised his wife for her hard work, writing, “My wife is literally a superwoman! She fought through all the pain like a champ! She’s my hero!”
Evan added, “Thank you for our sweet son! Can’t wait to teach him how to be below average at most sports!”
Bringing Up Bates fans got a kick out of this line from Evan. One fan wrote, “Below average. Stop it 🤣” Carlin added a series of laughing emojis.
The family’s photographer, Darian Kaia, wrote, “HAHAHAHAHAHA EVAN😂”
Someone else said, “Made me laugh out loud. 😂 You’re so funny.”
So, it sounds like Evan and his baby boy will be playing sports together soon. Carlin recently shared a video of her two-year-old daughter, Layla playing with a kids’ golf set, and she seemed to love it. When the baby boy gets a little bit older, he’ll have to join Layla.
It will be a little while before the baby boy is mobile, though. But it sounds like fans have a lot to look forward to as the baby grows up.
