Lifetime is kicking off a night of thrillers they are calling Girl Power. These are fearless women who are not afraid of stopping the bad guys. The network is premiering The Lost Girls, their latest cautionary tale.
This Girl Power thriller stars Jane Widdop (Yellowjackets, Fresh Off The Boat), Olivia d’Abo (The Wonder Years, Staycation), Randall Batinkoff (Head Trip, NCIS), Juliette Hanover (NCIS, Tales Of Runeterria: Demacia – Before Glory), and Dylan Sprayberry (Teen Wolf, Light As A Feather).
Julia Verdin (Maya, The Inheritance) directed this movie. Janet Odogwu (Marrying A Campbell, Flowers For Sam) and Julia Verdin (Maya) wrote the script.
What Is Lifetime’s The Lost Girls About?
According to the Lifetime synopsis, after escaping from a sex trafficking ring, one teenage girl struggles to reconnect with herself and her family.
To rescue her helpless friends, she must confront her fears and help lead the police to her traffickers–at all costs.

Searching For My Sister Caps Off Lifetime Movie Evening
Lifetime’s Searching for My Sister is on right after The Lost Girls. This movie stars Tatyana Ali (A Picture Perfect Holiday, Fancy Nancy), Justin Bruening (Swept Up By Christmas, Sweet Magnolias), Jasmine Guy (Harlem, Grey’s Anatomy), Carolyn Hennesy (BigNate, Click), and Anthony “Treach” Criss (Feast, Juice).
Twins Jada and Kayla (both played by Ali) could not be more opposite. Jada is the mild-mannered sister with an office job. On the other hand, Kayla is the wild child.
Kayla has been recently divorced from her husband, Warren (Justin Bruening). Kayla needs to move to her new apartment and get things all set up. Therefore, she asks Jada to watch her daughter.
However, Jada begins to worry after a few days. She has not heard a peep from Kayla! She is so worried she reports her sister missing.
Unfortunately, the police cannot get even one lead. They are stymied. Thankfully, Jada is fearless. She disguises herself as her sister. But going into her sister’s world is dangerous.
Searching for the truth, Jada is pulled into a world of deceit and drugs. Will she ever find out what happened to Kayla?
