Derick & Jill Dillard Reveal Baby #3’s Gender
Derick and Jill Dillard have some exciting news to share about their third baby on the way. The former Counting On stars now know the gender of the newest member of their family. Keep reading to get all of the details about Jill and Derick’s baby and learn about their gender reveal.
As we reported, in February, Jill and Derick announced that they are expecting another baby! The baby is due in July 2022. The couple already shares two sons, Israel, 6, and Samuel, 4.
Sadly, in October, Jill revealed that she had a miscarriage. They named the baby they lost River Bliss.
Fortunately, the Duggar couple is now getting their rainbow baby, and everything seems to be going well so far. A rainbow baby is a baby that’s born after a loss, such as a miscarriage or a stillbirth. Hopefully, Jill’s pregnancy continues to go smoothly.
When announcing Jill’s pregnancy, the couple wrote, “We are so thankful for a healthy baby and pregnancy so far and we look forward to finding out the gender soon!”

Derick & Jill Dillard Reveal Baby #3’s Gender
In a new blog post on Wednesday, March 23, Derick and Jill Dillard shared the exciting news that they have found out their baby’s gender.
The couple wrote, “We had originally planned on finding out our baby’s gender earlier, a couple weeks ago, but Covid hit our family and we had to delay the exciting revelation. However, this turned out to be a blessing in disguise because by the time we were able to reschedule, Israel was on spring break.”
Then, they wrote, “This meant our whole family could be together for the appointment, as we all found out together that another little boy would be joining the Dillard tribe!”
The Dillards went on to share about the special day leading up to the big reveal. They said, “We decided to make a special day of it by starting off by eating breakfast together at a local restaurant called the Buttered Biscuit. Then we did a little shopping before heading to our appointment to learn the exciting news. We are thankful to have a healthy baby boy due in July!
Finally, they thanked fans for all of their love, prayers, and support. They said, “Your continued prayers are much appreciated.”
In Derick and Jill Dillard’s blog post, they included a few photos from their pregnancy announcement shoot. However, the photos have been edited to feature a blue balloon that reads “baby,” as well as a onesie that reads “little brother.” You can check out the edited photos here.

my favorite name for a boy of jill and derick is: uriel, its an angel of the bible, raphael, daniel, immanuel or emanuel, ismael, gabriel. but uriel is not often and my favorite name and a letter u. at beginn they don’t have the name of the duggar grandchildren.
