Duggar: Are Jill & Derick Dillard Vaccinated?
Duggar fans are curious to know whether Jill and Derick Dillard are vaccinated. The couple recently shared on social media that they have tested positive for COVID. On Thursday last week, they shared a picture of themselves sick in bed. Jill wrote, “Give me all the hot liquids and cough drops please!! Derick & I tested + for covid for the first time and it’s not fun! 🤒🙏🏻Prayers appreciated for quick recoveries and for baby to stay healthy too!”
Because Jill is pregnant after a miscarriage, she and Derick are concerned about their unborn baby. COVID can be very serious in pregnant people. After her miscarriage, it sounds like she’s a little more anxious this time. The positive COVID test doesn’t help.
Immediately, fans flooded Jill’s comments section with positive words and promises to pray for her, Derick, and the baby. One thing Jill and Derick are happy about is that she made it out of the first trimester so she didn’t have to deal with COVID and morning sickness together.
Now, Jill and Derick have shared whether they are vaccinated. Did the Duggar couple get vaccinated before contracting COVID?
Are Jill Duggar & Derick Dillard vaccinated against COVID?
In an exclusive interview with TMZ, Jill and Derick revealed that they are vaccinated. TMZ reports, “Jill and Derick tell us they are both fully vaccinated … and they believe the mild symptoms they are experiencing could have been much worse without the shots.”
Hopefully, their COVID cases will continue to stay mild and they will recover fully in no time.
In an Instagram comment last week, a Duggar fan had mentioned the vaccine, and Jill said they were vaccinated but hadn’t gotten the booster. Jill said she was “hoping it won’t get too terribly bad” because they’re vaccinated.
Hopefully, because they’re vaccinated, Jill and Derick will have an easier time with COVID. Their cases seem to be pretty mild so far, so maybe it will stay that way. Fans are hoping to get another update about their COVID diagnosis soon. In the meantime, it sounds like Jill and Derick are working with her doctor to make sure the baby stays healthy and prioritizing their health, too.
