Is a Kardashian sister responsible for the Rob Kardashian death hoax that took social media by storm? Khloe Kardashian may have been the one who first instigated the rumors about her brother. The 37-year-old “liked” a post that claimed that the 34-year-old passed away. This led to a social media meltdown among Kardashian fans.

On Thursday, March 10, a fan who goes by the Twitter handle @khloecaine_ wrote, “we were robbed.” The fan included a photo of Rob Kardashian with Khloe’s BFF Malika Haqq. The throwback photo shows the two hugging in a nightclub. Alongside a broken heart emoji, fans assumed this tweet meant that Rob passed away.

For some reason, Kardashian fans think the Twitter use meant that Rob Kardashian passed away. However, it seems like they’re suggesting that fans were “robbed” of a possible pairing between Rob and Malika. Fans took to the Twitter post to share their reaction.

Khloe Kardashian “liked” the tweet to imply that she also likes the idea of Rob and Malika dating. She caused the Rob Kardashian death hoax to go viral on social media. Soon enough, fans thought she was mourning the loss of her brother. This comes after she was slammed for making fun of Rob’s weight.

Many old clips from the early seasons of Keeping Up with the Kardashians have popped up again on social media. One, in particular, showed Khloe talking to Jonathan Cheban about her younger brother’s weight gain. Khloe then asked her sister Kourtney Kardashian what she can do about it.

“What am I going to do? It’s the first thing [Rob’s] ever actually immersed himself in,” Khloe said.

“Well, besides the two refrigerators,” Jonathan joked.

Khloe covered her laugh with her hands. Kardashian fans took to Reddit to slam her for her “mean” comments. However, it was Jonathan who made the fat-shaming joke. Others called the trio out for their “mean girl” ways.

Rob Kardashian has been living his life outside of the spotlight. He also doesn’t appear on the reality series and isn’t active on social media. Rob has dealt with health issues such as diabetes. Ever since his diagnosis in 2015, he’s been in and out of the hospital.

Rob has struggled with his weight for years. He was almost 300 pounds at one point. The weight gain was a result of his mental health struggles. Rob prefers to stay out of the public eye, as he feels much more at peace with his life.
