Barry Weiss Is Back On ‘Storage Wars’ Season 14: Where Has He Been?
Storage Wars Season 14 is back! Moreover, fan-favorite, Barry Weiss is also back. It is the OGs vs the Newbies this season, and there is nothing more OG than Barry. However, fans of the show want to know where Barry has been for nearly a decade.

The Last Time Barry Weiss Was on Storage Wars
Storage Wars fans who watched Season 13 know that Barry came back. But, it was years since the now 71-year-old was on the series, or in his own spinoff, Barry’D Treasure. However, fans have associated the show with him. And rightfully so, as he was the inspiration behind Storage Wars.
According to a YouTube interview Barry made with Ferry de Kok, he was the inspiration behind the show. Before Storage Wars was ever made, Barry and show creator Tom Beers were hanging out. Tom told him about the whole storage locker phenomenon.
Barry surmised at what sorts of valuable antiques would be inside of the abandoned storage locker units. Always into interesting old artifacts, Barry and a pal had been the original antique collectors that TGI Fridays used to decorate their first restaurant. He surmised at what sorts of treasures could be lurking inside of those storage units.
Afterward, car race enthusiast Barry headed to LaMans, while Beers made the A&E series happen. When The Collector returned home, Beers wanted him on the show. It did not take long for the show, and Weiss, to be a smash hit.
Storage Wars Star Barry Weiss Was Seriously Injured
Back on April 24, 2019, Barry Weiss had a very serious motorcycle accident. He was riding his bike, with his pal, Jamie, alongside him. However, there was an SUV driver who was in front of him. They slowed down abruptly, leaving the reality star no room to stop.
Although both cycles hit the SUV, the Storage Wars star suffered more serious injuries. These include injuries to his back, his chest, and a break in his femur. This required time in intensive care, along with several surgeries. Although he had a tough recovery, nothing could stop him.
Moreover, he is back!
Barry Weiss Is Godfather To Another Reality Star
A lot of regular Storage Wars viewers may not know that Jesse James is Barry’s godson. A few years back, Graham Bensinger interviewed Jesse James. he spoke about his estranged father, whom Jesse claims was a drug dealer. Besides drugs, Jesse’s father also worked with antiques. This is when he pointed out that his dad’s business partner was Storage Wars star, Barry Weiss.
However, the Monster Garage star explained that his dad and godfather were in business together. He discussed the TGI Fridays antiques. But, he also claimed that his dad also had a shady business.
Meanwhile, Barry and his brother ran their family’s vegetable business.
