Bachelor no more
Former ABC reality star Colton Underwood is a Bachelor no more, in more ways than one. In April of 2021, Underwood made the shocking announcement that he’s gay. Rumors about his sexuality persisted during his season on the dating show, but he maintained for years that he was straight.
However, the coronavirus quarantine and his bad breakup with Cassie Randolph made him face the truth.
Less than a year after coming out, Colton Underwood is engaged to boyfriend Jordan C. Brown. The Bachelor Nation star shared the news on his social media in February.
Colton Underwood offers advice to Bachelor Nation franchise
The entire Bachelor Nation franchise has been under fire for years regarding the lack of diversity and other problematic behavior. During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Underwood was asked to share advice to get the franchise back on track.
According to the Season 23 lead, the show needs to start listening to other former leads and contestants about the problems within the franchise.
Furthermore, he suggests that the network offer help to contestants after the show is over. He said people who appear on the show are thrown to the wolves once the show is over.

The Bachelor Nation alum also fielded questions about his engagement to Jordan C. Brown. WWHL host Andy Cohen asked if the couple planned to sign a prenup before the wedding.
Us Weekly reports that Colton Underwood’s answer was no.
The outlet reports that after the commercial break Cohen revealed the outrage on social media over the lack of a prenup.
“We’re in it for the long haul. I know you guys have opinions on prenups, but … we don’t want to put those vibes out there,” Colton further explained.
However, Bravoholics have strong opinions on prenups. RHONJ star Teresa Giudice received a similar reaction after saying she’s not having her fiance Luis Ruelas sign the document.
Reality star has big wedding plans
Colton Underwood said he plans to be with his fiance for the “long haul.” But it turns out their engagement might also last longer than usual.
The reality star shared on the talk show that he wants a big wedding with Brown. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, he realizes that everything is delayed.
As a result, the couple plan to hold off on the nuptials until the wedding industry catches up and they can have a “good wedding.”
