Does Lala Kent Have Playdates With Frenemy Scheana Shay?

Lala Kent shared whether she has playdates with frenemy Scheana Shay. Fans know that the two have an on-and-off relationship. They had an explosive social media feud in the summer of 2021. At the start of Vanderpump Rules Season 9, they hashed things out.

However, there were still issues between the two. Lala was concerned about Scheana’s relationship with her then-boyfriend Brock Davies. She couldn’t help but share the details of his past with their cast members. While Lala and Brock don’t see eye-to-eye, the two ladies are still good friends to this day.

Lala Kent allegedly caught Randall Emmett cheating on her in October 2021. She has since moved on from their relationship. Randall was photographed with their daughter since their split. However, Lala claims that she’s Ocean’s sole provider.

Randall doesn’t contribute financially at all. This comes amid the film producer’s money problems. He’s struggling to pay his child support. Additionally, Randall is in the middle of multiple lawsuits.

“I’m Ocean’s provider. The money that comes into my household is coming from me, only me,” Lala Kent said on the March 2 episode of her Give Them Lala podcast before talking about the possibility of sending Ocean to preschool. “I can’t do the whole, ‘My kid goes here because it’s fun for the moms.’ Some of the moms start at preschool at 2 or 3. I’m not ready to send her to preschool at that age. Four is good. I don’t want her gone every day.”

She would rather have playdates with her Vanderpump Rules co-stars. Lala has been seen hanging out with the crew on social media. The cast is still close. She even hangs out with her former cast members Stassi Schroeder and Brittany Cartwright.

Lala Kent doesn’t have playdates with Scheana Shay

Despite their differences, Lala Kent confirmed that it’s “hard” to schedule playdates with Scheana Shay. Instead, she has a “Mommy and Me” group with Brittany and Stassi. Scheana is too busy and booked for the group. Their co-star lives in different places in California.

“The thing that’s hard with Scheana is she lives the dream where she like, has her place in L.A., she has her place in San Diego, she has her place in Palm Springs,” Lala Kent explained. “She travels. Like, she lives such a fun, fun life but what’s hard is like I always know that she’s constantly on the move. I knew Scheana couldn’t do [the classes] because she’s spending her time in San Diego right now.”

Lala wants to expand her family “one day.” She’s not opposed to doing it with a sperm donor. While she can’t have playdates with Scheana, she will reunite with Scheana and Brock at the Nashville stop of her Give Them Lala tour. She teased that they will have their own “segment” that is “lit.”
