Bobby Peoples and Renee S. Warren Peoples are a husband and wife, co-director team. Together, they have directed a few movies including Forbidden Fruit: First Bite, Pimpstress, and the upcoming movie, Dirty Little Secret, which has its own Facebook page.
According to WLBT, the couple has been working in the film industry for over 20 years. Together, they operate The Peoples Network, directing and producing over 100 films.
They filmed LMN’s You Can Never Go Home Again in Clinton, Mississippi. Bobby shared, “We had a great time filming in Clinton too last year. it was cold, but it was great.”
They used a lot of Clinton locals for the movie. The 30 extras included elementary school children and police officers. Renee shared, “So that was fun, and they had a good time doing it.”
That is not all of Clinton local life that Lifetime fans will see. Bobby revealed that the town is featured. “You’ll see a lot of Clinton landmarks for sure. We wanted to make sure that Clinton was like an extra character in the movie itself.”
