Friday Night Smackdown moved forward on the Road to Wrestlemania this week. The big news with a contract signing between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns. Both when will put their titles on the line at Wrestlemania in just five weeks. Ronda Rousey took part in an interview but had to fight off Charlotte Flair and Sinya Deville. Brock & Roman Contract Signing
After months of twists and turns, the main event of Wrestlemania is set in stone. WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns will do battle with WWE Champion Brock Lesnar. For the first time since Wrestlemania 6, the main event will be a Title vs Title showdown. The winner will unify both titles and walk out as the top dog in the WWE Universe.

With Paul Heyman turning on Brock Lesnar and taking the side of Roman Reigns, the dynamic of the match will be different than in the past. On WWE Smackdown, Lesnar and Reigns took part in a contract signing that didn’t go smoothly. Reigns went on to list all the things on Smackdown that he claims were his. From the announcers to the fans to all the security guards at ringside. Lesnar was not pleased with Reigns’ comments and beatdown the security guards as a result.

Johnny Knoxville crashes Sami Zayn’s Intercontinental Title Celebration
On Friday Night Smackdown last week, Sami Zayn defeated Shinsuke Nakamura to become the new Intercontinental Champion. Zayn came to the ring to celebrate his win and issue an open challenge. That open challenge was accepted by Johnny Knoxville, the star of “Jackass Forever. Zayn laughed off Knoxville as a potential opponent before blindsiding him with an attack. The new champion laid out Knoxville with a Helluva Kick before walking to the back.

Ronda Rousey beatdown
Ronda Rousey shocked the WWE Universe by returning earlier this year to win the Royal Rumble. Rousey earned herself a shot at a WWE Championship and chose Charlotte Flair as an opponent. On WWE Smackdown, Rousey sat down with Michael Cole in an emotional interview but was quickly attacked by Sonya Deville. Flair doubled down and targeted Rousey’s injured knee before the former UFC Champion could make her comeback.
