Jill & Derick Dillard Pregnant, Rainbow Baby Coming Soon
Jill and Derick Dillard have a huge announcement to make. They are finally going to become a party of five. The family took to their blog to share the good news along with a photo. This comes just months after they were devastated by a miscarriage in the fall.
Jill And Derick Dillard’s Big Loss
Last fall, the Dillards were over the moon with excitement. They had found out they were expecting their third child together. The couple’s already parents to sons Israel and Samuel so this was such a blessing. However, a few days after Jill and Derick announced the big news, tragedy struck. They started to miscarry the baby and their world was shattered. To help them get through the pain, they made a video on Instagram and posted to their blog. Though the gender was unknown, they chose to name the baby River Bliss.
In their blog, the Dillard’s explained River means “tranquil” as well as it is talked about in the Bible. Bliss was chosen as they believe their baby was living in bliss with the Lord. This gave them peace during such a tough time which was filled with the ultimate high then the lowest low. Now, they have something huge to celebrate as they can officially share they are expecting their rainbow baby.
Party Of Five
Surrounded by confetti and their two boys jumping, it was a real party for Jill and Derick Dillard. The couple shared they have been keeping a secret that they have been praying for. If they were meant to have another baby, they would be blessed with one. Looks like dreams do come true as baby Dillard will be making its arrival in July 2022. Their rainbow baby’s gender has not been revealed yet but it is clearly loved so much already.
According to their blog post, the baby is healthy thus far which is a huge relief. Furthermore, the pregnancy has been going just as well. Additionally, the parents are looking forward to finding out the gender very soon so hopefully, they will share that on the blog, as well. In a second photo, Jill is seen in a flowy floral dress, already with a baby bump as the family holds up a gold “baby” balloon.
