’90 Day Fiance’: Usman Using Kimberly For Fame, Ex Lisa Speaks Out

90 Day Fiance fans were shocked to see Usman ‘Sojaboy’ Umar back for another round of Before the 90 Days. His previous stint with Lisa Hamme was a real headscratcher but did end in marriage. Sadly it also ended in divorce. She had a lot of jealousy issues and it was clear this was never going to work. He returned for Season 5 with super fan Kimberly. She had a lot of similarities to Hamme. However, they were not ready to marry from the start. Now, Usman’s ex-wife is speaking out on the relationship and sharing her feelings towards Usman’s intentions. There’s a lot to unpack with this one.

90 Day Fiance Disaster

Lisa and Usman actually met through a mutual friend. She was nervous to start chatting with him, scared he was only looking to scam money from her. At the time, she was in her late forties and he was barely thirty, living in Nigeria. She was from Pennsylvania just living her life but decided she would start online messaging the rapper. That evolved into texting and video chat. Eventually, they were talking about a future together so it only made sense for her to travel to Nigeria to visit him. Plus, he had written a song for her so was definitely sucked in.

She also had to win over his mother who was roughly her own age. Lisa’s travels to see Usman were documented on Season 4 of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days. Upon him first seeing her, he said she was 70 percent good though he was taken aback by her being a bigger woman. They had fun but faced a lot of issues. She did not appreciate his female fans and he did not understand her jealousy. Furthermore, his mother felt she was too old and would not be able to carry children.

They still went through with their wedding but the marriage eventually ended. Lisa has since remarried but Usman is back for another season with a new woman. This time around, he is courting Kimberly, a superfan who is just a few years younger than Lisa. Speaking with In Touch Weekly, Lisa shares the differences between the two women and how this is all a scam for Usman.

Lisa Talks Usman And Kimberly

In Lisa’s mind, there is nothing about Kimberly that is like her relationship with Usman. For starters, she was actively involved with him romantically before traveling to see him. In fact, she had video chats with his family prior to meeting them. Kimberly met Usman in Tanzania for a video shoot with hopes of something more happening. Lisa also shared with In Touch why she believes Usman came back to the 90 Day Fiance franchise.

“As far as Usman coming back on the show with Kimberly, I do believe it’s a fraud. He’s back on, so TLC would do the video, ‘Zara.’ Has nothing to do with Kim.” She also believes Kimberly was chosen specifically to be on the show with Usman. “When he called her a super fan, I about fell off the couch laughing, but she’s portrayed as a super fan … So, I truly believe that Kim was chosen just to be on the show.”

Finally, Lisa feels that most American women want to know about exes so she would think Kimberly would have reached out to her. The cause of this is Usman’s player status. That has not happened therefore Lisa maintains this is all a fraud. Usman has denied Lisa’s claims and continues his journey with Kimberly.
