WWE News: NXT Stand & Deliver

On tonight’s episode of NXT, WWE officially confirmed the date of NXT: Stand & Deliver. Bron Breakker announced in the opening segment that the NXT event will take place on April 2nd, the same day as the first night of WrestleMania. No time has been officially confirmed, though rumors have stated it could take place at 11 am or 12 am. Bron Breakkker will be defending his NXT Champion but his opponent is unknown at the moment.

The recent angle with the Dirty Dawgs and Tommasso Ciampa will reportedly not be a one-time situation. According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, they’d be an NXT/Raw cross-over at all times. “They want an angle on Raw at all times on NXT,” Meltzer said. Meltzer went on to note that Ziggler is likely to stick around until April before a new crossover angle takes place. “The idea is to always have a main roster guy, preferably from the Raw side, doing an angle on NXT,” he stated.
