Kim Richards’ Daughter Scrubs Social Media Amid FBI Raid
Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kim Richards’ daughter Brooke is under a lot of stress this week. Over the weekend news broke that Kim Richard’s daughter Brook and her family were having some major legal issues.
Per Radar Online, Richard’s daughter, Brooke Wiederhorn, 36, and her husband Thayer have opted to delete their Instagram accounts. Brooke and Thayer are wiping out their online accounts following an explosive report revealing an alleged family money laundering case. Reports claim that Andrew Wiederhorn-chief executive of the family company that owns Fatburger is under a full-blown investigation by the Feds.
Legal Issues Mount For Kim Richards’ Daughter Brooke
In December, FBI agents raided Brooke’s family home leaving with, “phones, digital storage devices, tax documents, and other personal records. At this time, Brooke, nor Thayer are currently being named in the court documents. According to reports, investigators reportedly asked for a judge to grant permission to raid Andrew Wiederman’s home. However, it is unclear at this time if permission will be granted.
Radar reveals in an FBI affidavit dated November, an agent accused Andrew of having devised and executed a “fraudulent scheme.” The scheme allegedly helped him to avoid paying taxes while receiving “millions of dollars in sham loans.” The documents also list expenses occurred by the family which include $183K at a London jeweler, $100k to a divorce attorney, and $150K on a down payment for a Rolls Royce. The funds used for these listed purchases allegedly came from “accounts held by an affiliate of the publicly traded Fat Brands.”
Brooke Wiederhorn, Daughter Of Kim Richards House Raided
Andrew is also accused of illegally routing money through his son’s PayPal account in order to generate millions of American Express reward points. At this time no criminal charges are currently being filed. Wiederhorn’s attorney has denied the fraud accusations stating, “Mr. Wiederhorn categorically denies these accusations and at the appropriate time, we will demonstrate that the government has its facts wrong.
So far, the former reality star Kim Richards has yet to comment on her daughter Brooke’s legal issues. However, as recently reported by TV Shows Ace Kim has revealed that she has recently been in talks with Bravo’s Andy Cohen concerning her interest in possibly returning to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in upcoming seasons.
Richards claims He (Andy) said, you know, a lot of people have been asking for me to come back. So Andy thought he would go right to the source, so he did. And I do love Andy a lot. He’s great.” So far, neither Kim nor Andy is talking, just yet.
