Mama June Jumps State Lines With Fugitive Boyfriend, Cops Handcuff Him?
TLC personality Mama June has been in some trouble over the past few years. Unfortunately, things seem to be getting worse instead of better.
We know that she struggles with addiction — and many fans are worried that she’s headed in the wrong direction. Most recently, police officers arrested her new boyfriend for drug-related charges. And this probably isn’t good news for her sobriety. Keep reading to find out more.
Mama June and her boyfriend partied in Florida prior to the arrest
The Sun reports Mama June and her 34-year-old boyfriend Justin Stroud were partying in Boca Raton, FL when the drama went down. The publication says that authorities tried to catch up to Justin over the past several months, with no luck.
Authorities had a warrant for his arrest after he violated probation with drugs and burglary charges back in October. The Sun has exclusive images of the arrest taking place. The police officers have Justin in handcuffs and escort him away. Mama June looks distressed.
“Four cop cars came into the venue and started speaking with the valets,” a witness reportedly shared with The Sun. “Next thing you know, police pull into the gas station and they all swarmed in and arrested him. We saw him get taken away.”
According to the publication, “According to the booking report, Justin is being held in the county jail and is listed as an ‘Out of State Fugitive.'”
The Sun also reports that Justin has been to rehab. However, it never seems to quite work out. He’s reportedly used drugs while in rehab.
It just doesn’t seem like Mama June has the best taste when it comes to men. Her ex, Geno Doak, also has had run-ins with the law.
The matriarch attempts to patch things up with her family members
Mama June’s activities have really created a rift with her daughters, especially Alana. In previous interviews, Alana touched on how difficult it was to be the child of an addict. However, they are trying to mend the fences.
“I feel like right now, we’re definitely working on us and trying to fix the relationship,” Alana told ET after the pair appeared on The Masked Singer together. “I don’t feel like it’s 110 percent fixed, but it’s definitely getting there, that’s for sure.”
We can’t say for sure whether or not Mama June has been back into her old vices. But it doesn’t look good knowing that she’s romantically involved with Justin Stroud. We’ll just have to see where the situation goes from here.
