WWE News: Steve Austin To Return?, Cody Leaves AEW
The Road to Wrestlemania is moving forward with the Elimination Chamber just days away. With the Chamber event on the horizon, major news has broke leading into Wrestlemania. Steve Austin is rumored to return to the ring, with Cody Rhodes leaving AEW.

WWE News: Steve Austin for one more match?
Steve Austin’s last match was back in 2003 at Wrestlemania 19 against The Rock. Since then, Austin has shot down any rumors or news that he would ever return to the ring. Despite this, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer has reported that the WWE is making a strong push to bring Austin to Wrestlemania. During the most recent WWE Raw, Kevin Owens ripped Austin’s home state of Texas. This promo was seen as planting the seeds for a potential match between the two. No decision has been made but Meltzer reports that there are many tickets still left to sell for the event.
Cody Rhodes to return?
On Tuesday morning, AEW President Tony Khan announced that Cody and Brandi Rhodes were both leaving the company. Cody and Brandi started with the company over three years ago and were a cornerstone of AEW ever since. In recent weeks, both Cody and Brandi have been working without a contract and have been unable to come to terms for a new deal. Khan released a statement on social media and wished both well, which led to quick rumors. According to various sources, Cody and Brani are both in negotiations to return to the WWE. Cody has not been with the WWE since 2016 and was brought in to AEW after a successful independent run.
