Below Deck Season 9 cast member Rayna Lindsey called for the cancellation of the show. As TV Shows Ace previously reported, she refused to speak out about the show again. The former deckhand wants to move on with her new career. However, that’s not stopping her from speaking out every chance she gets.
Rayna did not have an ideal experience on the show. She blames the cast and producers for the way they handled the n-word controversy. The crew member wants Bravo to cancel the popular series. Rayna says it’s a platform for racists to speak their minds.
Rayna Lindsey calls for Below Deck’s cancellation
Below Deck Season 9 wrapped up last week. However, the drama is still going. Rayna Lindsey dealt with the aftermath of Heather Chase saying the n-word. She thinks the show tried to make her look “crazy.” As a result, she wants Below Deck to be “canceled.” When she brought up the issue to first officer Eddie Lucas, he brushed it aside. He later apologized to Rayna for the way he handled the situation.
Yet, Rayna was not happy. She also didn’t approve of Heather’s apology, even though she told her that she was fine with it. Rayna acknowledged her contradicting behavior this season. She wasn’t sure how to handle the situation. Plus, she didn’t want to come across as an “angry black woman.” Rayna took to her Instagram Stories to say the show should get the boot.
“Take away the show for good @belowdeckbravo,” the Below Deck alum wrote. “These Karen’s don’t deserve s***… Mf’s proud of being racist.”

Claims Eddie Lucas is going to “hell”
The Below Deck breakout star had more to say. Rayna returned to her Instagram Stories to write: “Eddie is going to hell!” She also called out the show for “making me look crazy all season.” The aspiring entrepreneur had to keep these feelings bottled up inside all season long. Now, she’s letting them out on social media.
Rayna also blamed Below Deck’s production company, 51 Minds. However, she has no problem with the reunion host Andy Cohen. She paid a shoutout to him before. This came after she called the Below Deck Season 9 reunion “boring” and said it was skewed to make Eddie look good.

The show didn’t make her look crazy, she is crazy! She made herself look stupid and to keep blaming other for her own mouth is ridiculous! Own it and grow the hell up!!
She is seriously the worst. Non stop drama. She ruined the series. Had to start fast forwarding every time her face came on the screen. All she ever does is complain complain complain. If she doesn’t want to work… She should’ve gone back home. She has a problem with everybody, and everything. She can’t even stop for five seconds and realize what a great opportunity she has. Since she is so lazy, she is just trying to project on everybody around her.
Just another person trying to make everything about race. Lord for bid she takes responsibility for her own actions. Doesn’t have anything to do with the race… just has to do with the fact that you aren’t a hard worker. Hope she never comes back to another episode!!
Rayna needs to move on and quit throwing tantrums!!! She is portrayed exactly the way she is!!!
I just quit watching when she was on the show!! Her being there showing how racist she is. I will not watch anything where she is involved.. drama queen at its worst!!!
“MAD Black Woman”? She came off like a petulant, immature, oversexed brat who couldn’t have a direct, honest conversation with anyone. She was a racist, mean, entitled child. Hated to even hear her voice.
Heather definately shouldn’t have said it and there’s no place for it. Context wise, she wasn’t even calling Reyna that word, she was calling the same white dude that word after Reyna herself used it. Jesus learn to forgive.
I wouldn’t hire Rayna after that drama.
Would not watch if Rayna or Jessica returned – they both blamed everyone else for their faults very annoying and hard to watch rest of the crew was fabulous and funny
Heather was drunk singing along with Rayna and said the word. She apologized and Rayna said she was cool with it, but she never let it go. If you see everything in the terms of race, you could be a racist.
