Comicbook confirms rumors that Season 2, Episode 11 will have a longer runtime than usual. The season finale will run for 45 minutes instead of the traditional 30 minutes. Fans are hopeful that they will see the Upper-Rank Meeting from the manga. Seeing this meeting is significant because it would introduce some influential Upper-Rank members.

Another theory for the longer runtime is that it allows for more advertising. The thought behind this theory is based on how popular the series is in Japan. Furthermore, the same thing happened at the end of Season 1, so it’s not unlikely to think that it may happen again.

Demon Slayer Season 3: Renewed Or Canceled?

When it comes to the fate of Demon Slayer, it is hard to tell. Season 1 wrapped up in April 2019. After that, fans got to see Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Mugen Train. Notably, the movie is “the highest-grossing Japan to date.” Comicbook also claims that “Tanjiro helped it become the top-grossing anime film in the whole world.”

Unfortunately, there isn’t an official confirmation on Demon Slayer Season 3 at the moment. However, a pattern leads fans to believe that there will be a Season 3. It seems like there is even hope for another movie that would fall between Season 2 and Season 3. So, if Season 3 follows the same trajectory as Season 2, it’s likely that fans will get new episodes of Demon Slayer in Fall 2023.

For fans looking to catch up on Demon Slayer, the anime series is available for viewing on the following streaming on Hulu, Funimation, and Crunchyroll. Also, Meaww suggests that viewers that like Demon Slayer will also enjoy the following: The Seven Deadly Sins, Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works, Yu Yu Hakusho, and Inuyasha.
