Tammy Slaton Unloads With HER Truth, Says Amy Isn’t What We Think?
Is it possible that there’s more to the stars of 1000-Lb Sisters than meets the eye? Tammy Slaton recently confided in a now-deleted TikTok that her sister Amy Halterman is misleading fans.
But the internet is forever. A fan managed to reupload the video on the platform so we can get Tammy’s side of the story. What exactly did she have to say?
Tammy Slaton and Amy Halterman don’t always get along
It’s no secret that Tammy Slaton and Amy Halterman don’t always see eye to eye. While Amy managed to make meaningful lifestyle changes and get weight loss surgery, Tammy wasn’t able to. Up until the end of Season 3, she made poor lifestyle choices which frustrated her family members.
As the season drew to a close, Tammy’s family revealed she did choose to go to rehab. Following a life-threatening medical emergency, she was able to go back to rehab. Fans hope she can finally get the help she needs this time.
Fans aren’t always very kind to Tammy and it does bother her. She has been known to get mouthy with fans on her social media videos. The now-deleted TikTok in question was one instance.
In the video, Tammy replies to a fan comment that reads: “Honestly if she doesn’t care about taking care of herself let her put herself in her grave. Only so much you can do.”
In the three-minute video, Tammy lets fans know that she gets frustrated when everyone pins everything on her. She feels like everyone is always attacking her and no one has any compassion or understanding about the situation. She even gets angry with her own siblings on occasion.
“Amy’s not the blessing y’all think she is. At least not all the time,” the TLC star said. Tammy didn’t go into specifics here, so it’s not quite clear what she meant. However, all sisters fight from time to time. It’s just possible the TLC camera crews chose not to air the parts that made Amy look bad.
The sisters seem to move on and be happier for it
Regardless of what happened between Amy and Tammy, both sisters seem like they’re in a pretty good place these days. Amy and her husband Michael have another baby on the way. They also moved into a bigger home in Season 3.
Meanwhile, Tammy finally took charge of her health and decided to check into rehab. A recent update showed that she seems much happier now that she put her bad habits in the past.

I myself know how Tammy feels fighting her obesity problems as I myself have fought obesity my entire life also from age 5 to 65 n still fight it today. So yes I would love to see more of 1000lb sisters to keep up on them both,Tammy and Amy’s endeavors to fight this terrible disease of obesity.

Tammy you really need to push yourself more and more at the end everyone wants you to have weight loss surgery and Amy and micheal congratulations on your second child and the both girls was always playing the blame game on each other sometimes girls take care of yourselfs
Sounds like Tammy is more jealous of Amy than we realize. Amy’s little family has taken center stage n Amy’s life. That is eating Tammy up. It doesn’t surprise me that Tammy once again wants to blame everything on Amy.Tammy grow up accept responsibility and act like an adult instead of a spoiled Bratt.
Same exact thought and feelings! I truly hope she gets her S#%t together and stop blaming her sister, her brother, her mom, her other sisters, her nurse, the steps, the doctor and her neighbours! We would be all be cheering for her as well if she didn’t blame everyone else but herself! I hope this time she sticks to it.
Finally! YOU get it! Tammy has nothing BUT support. Every time someone tunes into the Show or her Social Media world. She is her own worst enemy. She is soooo desperate for attention she will date ANYONE. Why? So they can bring her Food. She needs 2 b ignored for awhile and see how She likes THAT. I mean really IGNORED. The only ppl she should be mad at are the ones who bring her Food. If I were in her Life that shit would STOP. Call the Police…I wouldnt care. They could tell I wasnt doing anything wrong.
No one is perfect and for Tammy to say anything about her sister after all she does for her just goes to show you how jealous she is of her,,Amy good luck with your upcoming son..Tammy focus on yourself and getting well instead of what Amy did or didn’t do for you

Personally, I like Amy’s attitude and personality.
The way I see it is Amy has dreams and future goals for herself and her family. She’s a go getter and working hard to better herself for her family.
The difference between these two sisters is one takes accountability for her actions and working to better herself. The other one’s waiting for everyone to bow down and kiss her nasty tail. With no motivation to change or improve.
There’s not much tammy can say about her sister that would change most folks minds. Her true colors are out there for everyone to see. Besides, if she doesn’t care about herself how can she care about anyone else?
No one is perfect and we all have faults. But settling on those faults with no ambition or motivation to change creates an envious jealous person like I see in Tammy.
