The Below Deck Season 9 reunion special aired on Monday, February 7. Most of the crew members reunited to talk about the past charter season. However, there was one obvious face missing from the reunion. Jake Foulger did not make an appearance at the virtual reunion.

Unlike most Bravo shows, the crew members reunite virtually since most of them live and work in various countries throughout the world. This also makes it easier for them to meet at a certain time. The bad boy deckhand was absent from the reunion. Some fans wanted to know more about Jake’s non-appearance. Is he on the outs with his crew members?

Jake Foulger was a no-show at the reunion

The Below Deck reunion special addressed some of the biggest moments of Season 9. One of those highlights was Jake Foulger, who was seen pantless most of the time. He also ended up in a love triangle with Fraser Olender and Rayna Lindsey. Unfortunately, that was not discussed since Jake wasn’t present at the reunion. Fans couldn’t get the answers to their burning questions like why did that love triangle happen in the first place?

He also couldn’t open up about his current relationship status. As TV Shows Ace previously reported, he is single. That means he’s no longer engaged to the woman named Paris. Earlier in the show, he admitted that they were together for the green card. Jake has become popular among Below Deck fans due to his drunken antics on the show.

They loved seeing what else he was going to do next. Fans also wanted to know about the status of Jake and Fraser’s friendship. The two reunited shortly after leaving the yacht. But, it’s unclear where the two ended up since then. Fraser was mostly quiet during the reunion as he enjoyed his wine.

Why Jake didn’t attend the Below Deck Season 9 reunion

He has since moved on from Below Deck and yachting. Host Andy Cohen said that Jake has been struggling with mental health issues. He decided to miss the reunion. Jake held a Q&A on his Instagram Stories, in which he first spoke out about his mental health.

“My mental health has been really bad this year,” the Below Deck crew member wrote, as quoted by Reality Tidbit. “Nothing has to do with the show though. My own personal stuff. Production are doing everything they can to help me. I love them so much.”

Jake also confirmed that he will not return for Season 10 of Below Deck. He wants to focus on himself before appearing on reality television again. Surely, fans will miss Jake and his presence on the show. They would love to see him return again, especially if Fraser comes back.

  2. I did miss Jake… hes very entertaining….. im thrilled Rayna gone…… and I don’t care 4 head stu , she shouldn’t be fired 4 that BS !!!!! They were all drunk …. get over it ppl.. Raynas got big issues, whats she on ,looked like she was so mad ,she was shaking…anger issues?????

I think Rayna is racist she had it in for Heather from the start, it’s not a chip on her shoulder it’s a fuĺl king king Edward she has, she called Heather a white hoe now that’s not exceptable either I thought she was very rude and dissre spetful toeveryone she definitely and although she was new she didn’t like being told what to do by her seniors.

    1. Not disagreeing, but she clearly was using the word probably lyrics to a song, and Heather being drunk and becoming friends with Rayna blurted out the wrong word, not as a pejorative but a drunken mistakes “call back to Rayna’s drunken use of the word”

      Rayna said clearly, I’m ok with it,, I know you didn’t know you said it, but letting you know these days, any use of the word would be called out by anyone who heard it.

      She left, Eddie not aware was about to call out Rayna for a season to total laziness, the disrespect on a yacht where rank is a real thing, with eye rolling for daily tasks of the job. Polish stainless. Swab the decks, rice and clean the entire exterior EVERY SINGLE DAY (I’d never take that job).

      She pulled the being black card out, and chose to turn heathers mortifying info she didn’t even know she used the word, into THE WHOLE REASON SHE HAS NOT BEEN WORKING ALL SEASON.
      Eddie hadn’t heard the issue of the word and was giving her a very late duly appropriate dressing down for a whole season.

      Then turned it all into the word, then to re find an excuse for her total laziness and the disrespect eye rolling for doing one of many tasks she was hired to do every day as a deck hand.

      She blew Eddie up who has no idea there was a word issue and was being dispersed that Rayna was clearly looking to find a way to keep Eddie from his overdue calling out her work performance as unsatisfactory from day 1.

      She said she didn’t want to be “THE ANGRY BLACK WOMAN’

      No chance there she had already several intentionally WAS “THE ANGRY BLACK LITTLE GIRL GETTING ANGRY AS EXCUSE TO CONTINUE being a stereotype ANGRY BLACK LITTLE GIRL”

      SHE NEVER BEHAVED AS AN ADULT ALL SEASON SO NOT ANGRY BLACK “WOMAN” LABLE FOR HER CHILDISH BEHAVIOR.

      WHEN THE THIRD STEW ARRIVED 2 DAYS BEFORE END OF SEASON … IT WAS HEATHER’S BESTIE WHO FLEW HALF WAY AROUND THE WORLD TO GIVE A HAND TO HER BESTIE AND CHIEF STEW OF THE SEASON, HEATHER.

      ANGRY BLACK GIRL RAYNA THOUGHT SHE COULD PRAISE 3RD STEW AND THOUGHT, NO CHANCE IN HELL IT WOULD WORK, GET THE 3RD STEW TO GET IN RAYNA’S VAN, THINKING IT WOULD FURTHER ISOLATE HEATHER ALL TO BE IN “CONTROL OF HER ANGRY BLACK LITTLE GIRL BEHAVIOR”

      SHE IS A TE6RRILE HUMAN IN MY OPINION BASED ON WHAT I SAW HER SAY DO & ATTEMPT.

      NO EDITING COULD MAKE SUCH BIG LOUD STUPID PLAN TO DESTROY HEATHER’S SOUL WAS GONNA WORK OR NOT SEEN BY ANYONE SEEING HEARING AND WATCHING EVERY DISGUSTING LYE, FAKE HATRED OF HEATHER INTO A POWER TRIP, AND A FINAL (LOST COUNT) OF THROWING EDDIE UNDER THE BUS AS THE WORST CHARACTER IN HER MADE YUP STORY OF HAVING HER SOUL CRUSHED FOREVER OVER THE WORD THAT WASN’T A REAL ISSUE HEATHERS COUNTLESS APOLOGIES MORE SINCERE WITH EACH APOLOGY.

      SHE CONFIRMED THE ENTIRE EXPLOITATION OF HER BEING BLACK AS AN EXCUSE FOR NOT DOING ANY FULL DAY OF ALL HER CHORES WHICH IS WHAT HER POSITION as low level Deck Crew.

      I think she did more harm to the stereotype of angry black females, and made anyone who would never use the word reconsider if they could have a close friendship with a black person is on national tv all season she used the word as ammo to get out of doing her job, accepting apologies, then saying she was lying about being ok with the apologies…

      She did get Eddie to not ever have the chance to properly call her out as fully as he properly intended to do.

  4. I thought Jake was an immature twit, Rayna and Heather were annoying, and Frazier was two faced. In other words, season 9 was terrible.
