‘Below Deck’ Eddie Lucas Shares ‘Major Milestone’ Since Season 9

Below Deck star Eddie Lucas shared his “major milestone” since ending Season 9. The first officer has been through his share of ups and downs this charter season. On Monday, February 7, the crew members reunited to discuss the current season. Eddie has to step up to the challenge of his new role.

In Season 8, Captain Lee Rosbach promoted him to the role of the first officer. Eddie both proved himself and redeemed himself after a challenging Season 3. Thankfully, it worked out in his favor. Meanwhile, there have been rumors that Eddie is set to replace Lee at some point. Deckhand Rayna Lindsey was the first to spill the beans in a previous interview.

At the start of Below Deck Season 9, Eddie teased that there was something special in his life. However, he has kept quiet about his personal life. Fans watched him in a series of unsuccessful relationships. It’s nice to see him getting serious with someone new.

For months, there has been speculation whether Eddie still had a girlfriend. He looked like he had some relationship troubles earlier this season. The Below Deck fan-favorite told his girlfriend that he grabbed Heather Chase’s butt during a drunken crew night. She did not sound happy. Eddie reassured her that it was all fun games, but it made their relationship tense.

Now, Eddie has gone public with his relationship. On Wednesday, January 19, he took to Instagram to share a photo of himself with his girlfriend while announcing his “major milestone.” He told Below Deck fans that they purchased a house together. Eddie didn’t tag his girlfriend in the post, as an effort to keep her identity private.

“I’m sorry I have been quiet but I have been busy hitting a major milestone in my life,” the Below Deck star wrote. “I bought a house! I am so thankful for friends and family who has [sic] supported me during this time, especially this wonderful woman who has put up with me and supported me during this stressful time. Thank you babe.”
