Hallmark’s ‘The Wedding Veil Unveiled’ Is Second In Trilogy, Filmed In Italy!
Hallmark’s Loveuary continues with The Wedding Veil Unveiled. This is the second installment of the crossover trilogy that takes place in Italy. Expect romantic gondola rides, and incredible scenery, as the movie was partially filmed in Italy!
The Wedding Veil Unveiled stars Autumn Reeser (Sully, The 27-Hour Day), Paolo Bernardini (All The Money In The World, But You…Do You Love Me…?), Lacey Chabert (Christmas Waltz, Mean Girls), and Alison Sweeney (Hannah Swensen, Days Of Our Lives).
Ready to dig into the second installment about the magical wedding veil? This 19th-century wedding veil is said to bring true love to whoever possesses it.
What Is The Wedding Veil Unveiled About?
According to the Hallmark synopsis, a few months after Avery’s (Chabert) wedding, Chicago-based professor Emma (Reeser) travels to Italy to teach the history of American art.
While there, she uses her free time to research the provenance of the veil. The provenance is the record of ownership and where the veil has been from creation to the present day. This is commonly done for an antique to determine value.
This excursion leads her to the colorful island town of Burano, famed for its exquisitely handcrafted lace. On her way to the island, she encounters a handsome man (Bernardini) who offers help. However, she is still processing the end of a long-distance relationship, so she declines.
Her search leads to the oldest shop on the island, where the owner responds exuberantly to the veil. Emma doesn’t understand Italian but thankfully, the man she met earlier shows up and can translate.
She learns his name is Paolo and his grandmother is the shop owner. He explains that the veil shares a special connection to his family, who had thought it was destroyed.
Paolo and Emma decide to work together to unravel the century-old mystery of how the long-lost veil made its way from Italy to a shop in San Francisco.
As they spend time together and Paolo helps Emma to let go and embrace the beauty of Italy, they begin falling for each other.
As Emma prepares to return to Chicago, she isn’t sure she can handle another long-distance relationship, but the veil and its legend may have other plans.

The Wedding Veil Unveiled premieres on Saturday, February 12, at 8 p.m. Eastern, on The Hallmark Channel. In addition, encore showings include Sunday, February 13, at 2 p.m., Saturday, February 19, at 6 p.m., Wednesday, February 23, at 8 p.m., Sunday, February 27, at 12 p.m., and Saturday, March 19, at 8 p.m., all times Eastern.
