Acorn TV Announces ‘Brokenwood Mysteries’ Season 11 Premiere

Acorn TV has announced the return of its “quirky, fan-favorite crime drama” The Brokenwood Mysteries Season 11. Returning are Neill Rea as the country music-loving Detective Senior Sergeant Mike Shepherd, and Fern Sullivan as the by-the-book Detective Kristin Sims. They solve murder mysteries in the bucolic town of Brokenwood, New Zealand.
“From seemingly supernatural incidents in the idyllic community of Brokenwood to mysterious murders with hidden motives, Season 11 of the series sees Shepherd and his team plunge into a web of deception, greed, and dark secrets, using less than conventional methods to tackle their most perplexing cases yet.”

Returning to The Deadwood Mysteries Season 11 on Acorn TV besides Neill Rea, and Fern Sutherland are Jarod Rawiri as Detective Constable Daniel Chalmers, and Cristine Serban londe as Dr. Gina Kadinsky. “The Ghost In You” premieres on Monday, April 21. The 80s New Romantic band Stolen Arrow comes to Brokenwood for a performance. However, after the gig, a superfan falls off the bell tower. Now the detectives must uncover the dark secrets around the band to solve this shocking mystery.
“Sudden Death Round” pPremieres on Monday, April 28. There is a quiz night fundraiser for the Brokenwood high school library. However, radio host Ryan Osbourne is killed in an explosion. Mike and the team soon learn that old grudges are never forgotten.
“All Hallows Eve” premiers on Monday, May 5. When a man is stabbed at a séance, but no weapon is found, the team has to figure out how to outsmart the killer. However, the occult elements make the team have to determine what is superstition and what is reality.
“How The Other Half Dies” premieres on Monday, May 12. The team has to solve a death in the wealthier part of Deadwood when a chandelier crushes a man. This mystery is filled with spiteful adversaries and revenge.
“The End Of The Line” premieres on Monday, May 19. Death happens at a leadership camp for teens when a science teacher dies ziplining. Once they start investigating, Shepherd discovers a long list of suspects that the team has to pool through to find the murderer.
“An Oades To Christmas” premieres on Monday, May 26. This is final Season 11 episode on Acorn TV. In this episode, Santa is found dead on the road. However, this case gets odder when Gina determines what caused his death.
