Jill Dillard Surfaces For First Time Since Josh Duggar’s Guilty Verdict
Jill Dillard has finally returned to social media for the first time since she spoke out about her brother Josh Duggar’s guilty verdict. In case you missed it, Josh was convicted in his child porn case, which wrapped up in December. Jill and her husband, Derick Dillard, attended several days of the trial.
When Josh was found guilty, several members of the family issued statements. Jill and Derick shared their thoughts on the situation in a blog post.
They wrote:
“Josh’s actions have rippled far beyond the epicenter of the offense itself. Children have scars, but his family is also suffering the fallout of his actions. Our hearts are sensitive to the pains Josh’s wife, Anna, and their seven children have already endured and will continue to process in the future. This trial has felt more like a funeral than anything else. Josh’s family has a long road ahead. We stand with them, we are praying for them, and we will seek to support them however we can during this dark time.”
After sharing that post, however, Jill went silent on social media. Naturally, Duggar fans were concerned about her absence. Her last post was shared on December 10. However, she’s finally back online. Read on to see what she had to say.

On Sunday, January 30, Jill Dillard finally posted on Instagram once again. The Duggar daughter shared a photo of herself and her husband, Derick, as well as one of her whole family, including her sons.
She wrote, “👋🏻Hey peeps! 🌱I took a little break on here to start the year and it has been super nice! 💜We’ve been soaking up family time amidst the daily grind of work and school + enjoying some sunny, warmer weather the last couple of days before another cold front moves in later this week!”
Then, she asked, “🧣How has the start to your year been so far & what are you looking forward to this year? 🌻”
Of course, many fans are happy to see her back online and to know that she’s doing well. Many people were worried about her, so they are glad she was just taking a break and enjoying some time with her family.
It’s unclear whether Jill will remain on social media going forward or not. But this quick post was a good way to reassure fans that everything is okay.
