Leaked Text Messages Reveal Amy King Lied About Jana Duggar
A few weeks ago, Amy King seemingly shaded her cousin, Jana Duggar, in response to the news of her misdemeanor. However, now, it’s been revealed that Amy might not have been truthful about the meaning of her post and whether it was truly about Jana.
In case you missed it, in September, Jana Duggar got herself into a little bit of legal trouble. The news didn’t break until December, however. Though the full story is murky, Jana allegedly fell asleep while watching several children at the Duggar home. A child, who was meant to be in Jana’s care, was reportedly found in the road by a passerby.
In an Instagram story, after the news of Jana’s misdemeanor broke, Amy seemed to shade her cousin. She shared a snap as she hung out with her toddler son, Daxton, and wrote, “One thing I won’t be doing is falling asleep.”
Many fans assumed that this post was about Jana, especially because the news of her misdemeanor had just gone public. The timing seemed to line up perfectly. Fans didn’t think it would make sense for the post to be about anyone but Jana.
However, after text messages have gone public, Amy King is now being accused of lying about her cousin and the whole situation. So, what happened?

In case you’ve missed it, there’s been some drama between Katie Joy of Without a Crystal Ball and Duggar cousin Amy King recently. So, Katie has made several recent posts about the Duggar cousin on social media. A couple of her recent posts have featured text messages between the two of them.
On Instagram, Katie Joy of Without a Crystal Ball shared a couple of screenshots of her text messages with Amy King. In their conversation, they are talking about Amy’s Instagram story post about Jana Duggar.
In a text conversation with Katie Joy, Amy King said, “But it wasn’t an actual stab at Jana. It’s a very sad situation.”
So, in the caption of her post about the texts, Katie called out Amy for lying. She wrote, “Amy told me the story she made was about Jana falling asleep while babysitting. She then lied to my face and said it wasn’t about Jana after she got backlash.”
In another post, Katie explained, “After Amy got backlash for the shade she threw at Jana, which I was not the only outlet to report, she lied to me that it was about watching Daxton.”
