James Kennedy, Raquel Leviss No Longer Friends? Exes Get Shady

James Kennedy and Raquel Leviss claimed to be good friends still. The former couple ended their engagement on December 5, 2021. The reason behind their split was revealed in the two-part Vanderpump Rules Season 9, which aired this week. Their break-up was bittersweet, as the two hugged and said their goodbyes when filming ended.

Since then, both James and Raquel confirmed in respective interviews that they’re still talking. But, that may have all changed this week. On Monday, January 24, James was the center of dating rumors. He was spotted holding hands with a mystery woman in Las Vegas.

Meanwhile, Raquel wanted to have an “unengagement party.” She took to Instagram to post a naughty photo while shading her ex-fiance. James Kennedy is fighting back. He claims that he “dodged a bullet.”

Raquel Leviss has an “unengagement party”

As TV Shows Ace previously reported, Raquel Leviss threw an “unengagement party” with her Pump Rules friends. She didn’t want to watch the reunion all by herself. So, she spent time with her castmates. They drank out of phallic straws, popped balloons that were shaped out of engagement rings, and partied while they watched the two-part reunion special.

Raquel even shared a photo from the event. However, some fans think she was being cruel to her ex James Kennedy, who has already moved on. She also shared a clip via her Instagram Stories to pop a huge diamond ring balloon with the caption, “Bon voyage!” Raquel said she wanted to move on with her life. Seeing James move on made her free to move on as well.

Raquel threw the bash with her VPR friends Scheana Shay and Ariana Madix. They all shared fun moments from the event on social media. Yet, fans didn’t see anything amusing about it. They accused Raquel of being mean-spirited to James and she fired back by saying that she has to look out for herself.

James Kennedy shades ex-fiance?

Now, James Kennedy is sounding off. It looks like the two are no longer good friends. The Brit took offense when Raquel shared a photo of herself drinking out of that straw on Tuesday night. Following the news of her naughty Instagram post, the Vanderpump Rules star took to the comment section. Even though James deleted it, a fan page shared a screenshot of his comment.

“Drinking every night and sucking on p**** straws… looks like I’m the one that truly ‘dodged the bullet’…” James Kennedy originally wrote. “And let’s not get it twisted it’s always MY year.”

Raquel said on Scheana Shay’s podcast that she’s still friends with him. When James made an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, he echoed Raquel’s previous statement. He admitted that the two talked a day before his virtual interview. But, that may not be the case anymore. It looks like these two are now having a falling out in real-time.

Earlier this week, James Kennedy was spotted with a brunette woman in Las Vegas. The next day, Raquel said she was having a “mental breakdown” after her therapist canceled her appointment for the second time. She revealed that she was “on the verge of panic and rage.” The Vanderpump Rules Season 9 two-part reunion special concluded on Wednesday, January 26.
