The Celebrity Big Brother cast for Season 3 is officially out all over social media! The previous cast list leak was mostly false, with a couple of notable exceptions. Still, it is shaping up to be an interesting season. There are a couple of cast members that will intrigue Real Housewives fans and a couple that will raise the eyebrows of the 90s kids out there. Let’s take a look at who will be entering the Big brother house less than a week from today.

The Official Cast Revealed

The huge announcement came first in the form of a tweet from CBS. The cast consists of 11 celebrities, the same as the previous 2 seasons of the hit show.

Fans of 90s Saturday Night Live will be happy to see Chris Kattan on the cast list. It’s been a number of years since that name was in the spotlight, following his departure from SNL and broken relationship with Will Ferrell.

Continuing with 90s celebrity culture, many will be surprised to see Chris Kirkpatrick of NSYNC fame on the roster. Another name that has been largely inactive in recent years, his performance on Celebrity Big Brother will certainly be interesting.

Real Housewives fans will notice Cynthia Bailey and Teddi Mellencamp amongst the cast names. Both are certain to bring the drama into the Big Brother house.

The 2 celebrities from the leaked cast list who are now confirmed to be on the roster are Lamar Odom and Todrick Hall. Odom is certain to be a major athletic threat in the household at 6 feet 10 inches. Todrick has already proved himself a successful reality competition player after making it to the top 16 in Season 9 of American Idol.

Also bringing a physical element to the house is Mirai Nagasu. An Olympic figure skater, she’s certain to be hot competition. The question is whether or not her social and strategic game will measure up enough to make it to the end game.

The remaining celebrities on the cast list include Todd Bridges, Carson Kressley, Shanna Moakler, and Miesha Tate.

‘Celebrity Big Brother’ Returns

Some have complained about the cast list, wishing for more high-profile celebrities to enter the house. The reality is the show has never had A-list (Or even B-list, for that matter) celebrities. At best they have former A-list celebrities, people like Chris Kirkpatrick and Chris Kattan certainly qualifying as such. The idea that that would be any different this season than the previous 2 seasons is a bit ridiculous. As long as these celebrities bring the drama and the backstabbing, it should be a great season.

Celebrity Big Brother Season 3 kicks off on February 2nd.
