Fans Divided Over Matt Roloff’s Latest ‘Controversial’ Comment
Matt Roloff is getting “controversial” on social media. The Little People, Big World patriarch had something to say to fans, and it got him a lot of attention. Now, fans are totally divided by what he shared online. What’s going on?
Matt Roloff sparks a controversial discussion.
Over the weekend, Matt revealed that he was working on an irrigation system for the big house. Though this might seem like a pretty neutral post, Matt’s later comments made it a bit controversial.
In the caption of Matt’s post, he reveals that his son, Jacob Roloff, came over to help him with his latest project. Then, in a comment, he mentions his and Jacob’s differences. He wrote, “Jacob may have some weird political beliefs but at least his humility to put in a hard days work is showing thru.”

Now, fans are flooding the comments section of Matt Roloff’s post to discuss what he said about Jacob. They are taking sides and speaking out on whether they agree or disagree with Jacob. If you follow him on social media, you probably know that he shares a fair number of political posts on his Instagram stories.
Some fans have even unfollowed Jacob due to what he’s posted online recently. One notes, “If you disagree with him he blocks you!”
Someone else is on the same page as Matt politically but still appreciates Jacob’s views. They write, “I share your same political beliefs, but I can appreciate someone with a kind heart and good moral values, regardless of their political beliefs.”
Other fans agree with Jacob, however. They disagree with Matt and say that Jacob’s beliefs are “not so weird.” Someone else writes, “Jacob is a wonderful young man and I agree with him…politically and otherwise.”
Despite Matt and Jacob’s differences, they still seem to be getting along great. Fans love to see that they can disagree politically without it getting in the way of their father-son relationship. Fans are applauding the two of them for making their relationship work through these disagreements.
