Wells Adams Teases ‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Season 8
Wells Adams teases Season 8 of Bachelor in Paradise, names his top choices for contestants. Who does he want to see on the beach? Keep reading for all the details.
Rumored Bachelor Nation 2022 schedule
2021 saw a change in the usual Bachelor Nation schedule. Instead of one season of The Bachelorette, the network picked two former Bachelor Season 25 contestants to headline separate seasons – Katie Thurston (season 17) and Michelle Young (Season 18.)
Additionally, Bachelor in Paradise returned to television after skipping a year due to the coronavirus pandemic. ABC also found time to film the currently airing Season 26 of The Bachelor.
At one point in late 2021, blogger Reality Steve heard rumors that the network would air two consecutive seasons of The Bachelor in 2022. However, the network allegedly then scrapped those plans.
ABC has yet to announce when a new season of The Bachelorette will air. However, Wells Adams is already looking ahead to another season of Bachelor in Paradise.
Wells Adams teases Season 8 of Bachelor in Paradise
ABC may not be ready to talk about Season 8 of BIP, but Wells Adams is. The former Bachelorette suitor has been the beachy show’s bartender for the last four seasons.
In fact, fans were hoping the network would promote him to host after Chris Harrison’s exit from the franchise. However, for Season 7, the network opted for rotating celebrity guest hosts – David Spade, Lil Jon, Tituss Burgess, and Lance Bass.

Wells Adams recently spoke to Us Weekly about a possible Season 8. He discussed the possibility that so many hosts were akin to “too many cooks in the kitchen.” In his opinion, the focus should be less on who is hosting and more on who is there looking for love.
That being said, he is “excited to get back down there. It was so much fun to do this last season.”
As for which Bachelor Nation alums join him, he’s up for anyone. However, he does have his choices.
“I need Salley [Carson] there and you know what I might need Salley’s fiancé down there,” Wells suggested. Salley briefly appeared on Season 26 to turn down a rose from Clayton Echard. She was reportedly engaged to someone else just before applying as a contestant for The Bachelor.
Furthermore, Wells Adams would like to see Shanae Ankney and Cassidy Timbrooks on Season 8 of Bachelor in Paradise.
Michelle Young names former suitors as possible contestants
Bachelor in Paradise generally chooses contestants from previous seasons. Season 7 was a landmark season, as it was the first time a former lead (Becca Kufrin) hit the beach.
While Wells Adams has his own dream contestants for a possible Season 8 of BIP, so does Michelle Young. The Season 18 Bachelorette is happily engaged to Nayte Olukoya.
In December of 2021, the couple shared their wedding plans with E! News. Additionally, they were asked about possible contestants for Season 8 of Bachelor in Paradise.
From Season 18, Nayte and Michelle Young would nominate Leroy Arthur and Peter Izzo.
