Caelynn Miller-Keyes Scary Incident Led To Stitches, What Happened?
Bachelor in Paradise alum and fan-favorite Caelynn Miller-Keyes had an incident recently that landed her in the emergency room. She ended up getting stitches on her face, just above her lip. She’s shared details along with photos and video. Keep reading to find out more about what happened to her.
Caelynn Miller-Keyes ended up in the emergency room
Caelynn Miller-Keyes and Dean Unglert recently lost their senior dog Pappy. They decided to get another senior dog to help them heal and fill the void. They officially decided to adopt the new senior dog and introduced Alastor Moody to the world on January 11 via Instagram. Dean and Caelynn were told he’s approximately nine years old. They are not sure of his breed but did a dog DNA test and should know soon.
Both Caelynn and Dean already seem in love with Alastor. However, Caelynn had a scary incident happen a few days ago that landed her in the emergency room. Caelynn had Alastor outside walking him when another dog, a German Shepherd, approached them.
The owner was with the German Shepherd. However, they kept letting their dog sniff Alastor. Then, the bigger dog got aggressive and Caelynn panicked. She reached to pick up Alastor and he bit her face. Caelynn said blood was gushing out so she went to the emergency room.
She did need stitches and her mom helped her find a plastic surgeon who saw her right away. Caelynn went to YouTube to detail the incident and share how she’s doing. The day after the incident she was hurting and her face just above her lip was swollen.
However, she said it could have been much worse and she’s fine. As for Alastor, he is going to start working with a trainer to ensure this doesn’t happen again or to anyone else.

Caelynn also shared some other details about their new family member. She said the training will be good because he does seem to be a tad snippy with certain people or animals.
She joked that the day after he bit her he had his teeth cleaned at the vet. The appointment had been scheduled for a month. So she noted how it’s ironic that now he has clean teeth following the incident. Caelynn also said since Alastor is older the vet had to remove twelve teeth.
Caelynn also shared more about how they got Alastor. It seems his original owner passed away and the family couldn’t keep him. So, Caelynn and Dean stepped up. She said having him around is helping them heal from losing Pappy. Plus, she said he’s the most snuggly dog ever.
Alastor keeps them laughing and on their toes. He was overweight when they got him and he’s already losing some of it by getting lots of exercise and eating right.
