‘Young and the Restless’ Weekly Spoilers: Tessa Gets Ready to Propose to Mariah
The Young and the Restless spoilers for January 17-21, 2022, reveal Mariah Copeland getting the shock of her life when Tessa Porter gets down on one knee and wants to change the course of their lives.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers: What Will Mariah Say?
For a while, it looked like Mariah (Camryn Grimes) was going to be the one who would be more obsessive about Dominic than she should be, but that job is now falling to Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). Mariah and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) managed to work things out and now they plan to have a baby together. So, what should they do next? According to Tessa, they should get married so she arranges a special night at Society where she absolutely stuns Mariah by getting down on one knee and proposing.
Mariah wasn’t prepared for this to happen, so what will she do? Is she ready for such a big step and will tell Tessa yes? Or, will she be gun shy and ask for some time to think about it? After all, she had a hard 2021 and maybe she isn’t ready for a big step like marriage.
Devon Drops Truth Bombs on Abby
Meanwhile, Devon is more determined than ever to have legal rights to Dominic and Abby Newman Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) can’t for the life of her figure out why because things don’t always seem obvious to this young and spoiled woman. Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) is back and he is Dominic’s legal father so clearly, Devon needs to stick to their agreement.
It’s up to Devon to explain to Abby that he and Chance had already talked and Chance opened up to him about his reservations about raising this baby he feels very little attachment to. He also went through a lot of hard things while on his mission and may need more emotional and psychological help than delusional Abby realizes.
Victoria Plays a Dangerous Game
Victoria Newman Locke (Amelia Heinle) is becoming just as cutthroat and ruthless as her father and she has apparently learned from the best. After all, she is the daughter of The Great Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). And now she wants Newman Media as a play toy for herself and Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi). She then warns Adam Newman (Mark Grosman) the company he helped build might not be his much longer.
Does Victoria realize she is playing with fire here and Adam may be able to beat her at her own game? And will Victor just enjoy watching two of his children tear one another apart? It definitely sounds like something Victor would do.
