Hallmark Honors Betty White On Her Birthday, Including #BettyWhiteChallenge
What better way to celebrate Betty White on what would have been her 100th birthday than to watch a 24-hour marathon? Hallmark has this covered, as well as Betty White seven days a week.
Moreover, Hallmark also is participating in the #BettyWhiteChallenge.
Here are all the details.
How Is Hallmark Celebrating Betty White’s Birthday?
Although Betty White died less than three weeks short of her 100th birthday, Hallmark wants to celebrate this remarkable woman.
Therefore, they have decided to air 24-hours of Betty White. This includes 40-hours of The Golden Girls. This is a series that already regularly runs on the network.
According to Southern Living, Hallmark carefully curated the very Rose-centric episodes that Betty White fans will appreciate. The spokesperson from Crown Media shared what fans should expect to see.
The marathon includes specially selected episodes of The Golden Girls that highlight Rose’s surprising competitive streak; visits by her St. Olaf relatives; funny career moments from the grief center and assisting consumer reporter Enrique Mas; along with plenty of romance, including boyfriends Dr. Jonathan Newman, Mister Terrific and of course, Miles Webber.
Network Participating In The #BettyWhiteChallenge
Did you know that Hallmark is also participating in the #BettyWhiteChallenge? This is a social media campaign to help animal causes. The late Mary Tyler Moore Show star was a lifelong advocate for animal welfare.
Hallmark has helped to promote donating to the North Shore Animal League America. Fans are encouraged to donate to a local animal rescue group or the American Humane Society in Betty White’s name. Many are suggesting that fans do it on Betty’s birthday, January 17.
However, it is more than ok to do it before that. That is because you do not want to miss any of the Betty White marathon on the Hallmark Channel.
Hallmark Airing Betty White’s Movie, The Lost Valentine
Did you know that Betty White made a Hall of Fame movie? This movie is The Lost Valentine, co-starring Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Sean Ferris.
This moving story is based on the James Michael Pratt novel of the same name. It first premiered in 2011.
Hallmark will air The Lost Valentine on Monday, January 17, at 8 p.m. Eastern.
The Hallmark Channel Regularly Airs Golden Girls
Did you know that the Hallmark Channel regularly airs The Golden Girls? They are on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Eastern.
But that is not all. They are on overnights, as well as weeknights as well. Hallmark airs the popular Betty White series seven days a week. You can watch all the Betty White you want on the feel-good network!
Don’t forget to binge-watch Betty White-featured episodes of The Golden Girls, as well as The Lost Valentine on Monday, January 17, starting at 12 a.m. Eastern, on the Hallmark Channel.
