Dr. Terry Dubrow Shamelessly Pushes Over Priced COVID Tests On ShopHQ?

Dr. Terry Dubrow wants to spread the importance of health amid the latest COVID-19 surge. The Omicron variant is rapidly spreading throughout the country. Once again, lines for the COVID testing are getting longer in the harsh winter conditions. Americans are looking for free at-home tests from the federal government.

The Botched star is accused of selling his over-priced COVID tests on a home shopping network. At the time of this writing, the Flowflex COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Home Test Kit costs $9.99 at Walgreens. Unfortunately, these tests are out of stock. Americans are desperate to find at least one test as cases continue to soar. Some would like to have the convenience of testing at home.

Dr. Terry Dubrow sells his own COVID tests

The doctor regularly makes house calls on ShopHQ. Terry Dubrow and his wife Heather Dubrow normally sell their Consulte Beaute line. This combination of skincare products and supplements supports healthy, skin, and nails. But with the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Terry has appeared alone to promote the importance of face masks and COVID tests.

He promotes the same Flexflow COVID-19 tests that are normally available at Walgreens. But they’re selling them for a set of five and 10 that cost $119 and $189, respectively. That’s not included with the $10.99 shipping. Customers can choose to buy the pack of tests at six value pays of $19.83 to $31.50 per month. Regardless, that’s a 23% markup on the tests.

At-home COVID tests are a convenient option for standing in line for one. They’re also highly recommended since you don’t have to leave your home. You even get the results in the comfort of your own home. It’s unclear why the Flowflex COVID-19 tests cost so much on the ShopHQ website.

What’s also interesting is that they’re available at ShopHQ. Walgreens claims they’re out of stock online. Terry is being slammed for price-gouging and taking advantage of those desperate for an at-home test. That includes ShopHQ’s demographic, which is comprised of the elderly.

The Dubrows have a $21 million mansion

It’s also unclear whether Terry gets a cut from each sale of these COVID tests. Terry and his wife Heather own a $21 million mansion. Heather made her grand return to RHOC after five years away from the franchise. She did not hold back on giving a tour of her massive house.

Their $21 million home features seven bedrooms and 14 bathrooms, one of which is kept secret. The 22,000 square foot mansion has its own movie theater, which costs $1 million. There’s also a champagne room since Heather loves to pop the “champs.” Terry Dubrow has his own office, but he rarely uses it.

The house also has two kitchens, one of which is for the butler. Heather converted one of the rooms for her podcast during the pandemic. The courtyard includes a huge tree that has four birds that represent each of her children with two eggs that represent her frozen embryos. Both viewers and Heather’s co-star Shannon Beador were in shock over her lavish abode.
