Did Scheana Shay And Brock Davies Ever Get Married?
Scheana Shay and Brock Davies shocked fans when they shared their wedding plans. On Tuesday night’s episode of Vanderpump Rules, the couple shared their future plans together. Both of them agreed that they didn’t want to do a big wedding since they both got married before. Brock wanted to surprise Scheana with a wedding, which wasn’t much of a surprise.
He had the venue picked out, but it fell through. So, Brock needed a little help from his friends. He enlisted the help of Lala Kent and her then-fiance Randall Emmett. Since Scheana’s friendship means a lot to her, she wanted to help Brock do something special for his lady.
Did the couple end up getting married?
Scheana Shay and Brock Davies got engaged this year
In July 2021, Scheana Shay and Brock Davies announced their engagement news. He popped the question on the balcony of their Los Angeles home. People published photos of their special day. Brock wore a tuxedo shirt with black pants, while Scheana wore a white corset bustier and asymmetrical skirt with nude shoes.
“I knew it was coming soon, but I didn’t know how or when. I was so surprised!” Scheana Shay told People. “Brock knows me so well and I knew exactly how to do what I would want. There’s no date set, but our dream is to get married in Bali. That’s where we first said, ‘I love you.’ It’s a special place for us both.”
Seems like the couple had different plans. At the time, Scheana loved the idea of a destination wedding. But on Pump Rules, they shared a different plan, which left fans scratching their heads. They made it sound like a wedding wasn’t a big deal to them since they wanted to do it right away.
Vanderpump Rules couple accused of staging a fake surprise wedding
Everyone is confused about the status of Scheana Shay and Brock Davies’ relationship. Are they married or engaged? Vulture contributor Brian Moylan accused the couple of staging a fake surprise wedding on the show. Brock and Scheana said they didn’t want to fuss with a big wedding.
Yet, Brock wants to throw Scheana a surprise wedding. He wanted Randall to throw a fake movie premiere that everyone had to attend. Since everyone would already be dressed up, he would propose to Scheana. After he pops the question, they will have the wedding right there.
Lala admitted that Scheana loves surprises. She knows her friend wants to be swept off her feet, no matter what she says. Brock says he’s on board with the idea. But there’s just one problem. He wants it done in two days, even though he can’t afford it.
Whenever the topic of money comes up, he breaks a sweat. Lala and Randall offer to pay for the wedding and tell him that they can come up with a payment plan. Scheana meets up with Charli Burnett and tells her that there’s going to be a surprise wedding.
She also admitted that Brock wanted to marry her for the green card, which is an added bonus. Fans can’t help but notice the red flags in their relationship. Some also wonder if the couple is already married since Brock needs a green card and a source of income. He can’t work in the U.S. without one.
The latest update on their wedding plans
In September 2021, Scheana and Brock gave an update on their wedding plans. At the time, they said they wanted to get married in Bali. They stuck to that idea even though they have different plans on Season 9 of Vanderpump Rules.
“However many people want to make the trek to Bali, they are invited,” Scheana Shay told Page Six. However, she added that her wedding to Brock will “definitely be smaller” than her previous wedding. The couple planned to get married by November 2021, but that fell through with the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Brock said that their “vision” will get “clearer” as time goes on. Scheana confirmed that they’re “not setting an exact date.” But don’t they need to get married ASAP, so Brock can stay in the U.S.? It seemed like they were in a hurry in the latest episode of VPR.
