Scheana Shay opened up about the hair loss she experienced since her daughter Summer’s birth. The Vanderpump Rules star took to Instagram to reveal that her hair started “coming out in chunks” after she gave birth. She also fired back at the trolls, warning them to “think before you comment.” Scheana’s secret hair loss could be the reason why she showed off a new look.

On the new episode of the Bravo series, the Boy Crazy founder rocked a long, tinsel ponytail. Fans took to social media to share their thoughts. Some of them didn’t understand why she was wearing a decoration in her hair.

Pump Rules star shares shocking confession about hair loss

On Wednesday, December 29, Scheana Shay took to her Instagram Stories to share a confession with her fans and followers. She admitted that her hairline has become her biggest insecurity ever since she welcomed her first daughter earlier this year. The 36-year-old reality star faced criticism over her other hairstyle on Tuesday night’s episode of Vanderpump Rules. Scheana wore a high ponytail and one-shoulder dress for Lala Kent’s first-ever Give Them Lala Beauty party.

“To everyone who has commented on my hairline tonight: this was already my biggest insecurity and legit the only thing I usually would facetune,” Scheana Shay wrote. “After having a baby, I have postpartum hair loss. It is slowly coming back but I’m also still pumping milk every 3 hours since Summer stopped latching. Not sure if breastfeeding is related to the hair thinning but it’s happening to me. My hair was coming out in chunks.”

In her lengthy post, she reminded fans to “think before you comment.” She received her share of backlash before. Fans slammed her for her Hawaiian babymoon and for traveling while she was pregnant during the pandemic. They also teased her for some of the decisions she’s made while pregnant.

Scheana Shay and Brock Davies’ “surprise” engagement

Tuesday night’s episode was also about the couple’s future plans. Since Scheana and her fiance Brock Davies were previously married, they both agreed that they didn’t want a big wedding. But her Australian hunk managed to “surprise” with an engagement party.

“I knew it was coming soon, but I didn’t know how or when. I was so surprised!” Scheana Shay previously told People. “Brock knows me so well and knew exactly how to do what I would want. There’s no date set, but our dream would be to get married in Bali.”

However, in last night’s episode, there was a lot of talk about a wedding. Brock wanted to surprise Scheana with a wedding rather than an engagement. He had a venue lined up, but it fell through. Lala and then-fiance Randall Emmett also revealed that Brock had money issues.

He asked them to help him pay for the party. Every time they brought up finances, he would avoid the conversation. It’s any wonder how this will work out. Vanderpump Rules Season 9 airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
