Kailyn Lowry Horrified By ‘Petty & Immature’ Gift From Briana DeJesus

Teen Mom star Kailyn Lowry slammed Briana DeJesus as “petty and immature” for her infamous Christmas gift. She’s right — it wasn’t a nice gift. Briana sent her fellow castmate a treadmill. Kailyn called her out for “body shaming,” and fans agreed with her.

She shared her thoughts about Briana’s gift in the new episode of her podcast, Baby Mamas No Drama. Briana and Kailyn’s drama has reached a new high. The two are in the middle of a lawsuit. Kailyn previously sued Briana for defamation.

Kailyn Lowry calls out the “body shaming” gift

She let loose on her podcast. She addressed her ongoing drama with fellow Teen Mom star Briana DeJesus. In June 2021, Kailyn sued Briana for defamation after her co-star “physically beat Christopher Lopez, the father of two of Lowry’s sons, and broke into and entered the home of Mr. Lopez’s mother.”

“Touching on the lawsuit stuff: I felt like I handled that the best way. The lawsuit is not petty,” Kailyn Lowry explained. “The lawsuit is me silently f***ing defending myself from felonies I did not commit. I’m going to defend myself. At what point do you choose between being a bigger person?”

She admitted that she could’ve gone down the petty route, but that it wasn’t an option for her. Then, Kailyn addressed the treadmill that Briana sent her. She called her out for the “petty” and “immature” gift.

“So then fast forward to the treadmill: that hurts. That’s hurtful. It’s petty, and it’s childish and it’s immature,” Kailyn Lowry added. “If you think we can handle it privately and differently, then you wouldn’t have sent me a treadmill the week before.”

The MTV star said she’s been “connecting the dots between what Chris and Lauren said versus what Briana did.” Lauren is another one of Kailyn’s enemies and is the ex-fiance of Kailyn’s ex Javi Marroquin. Chris Lopez shares their sons Lux, 4, and Creed, 1, with Kailyn.

Shortly after the podcast episode aired, fans shared their thoughts. Most of the reaction was mixed. The Teen Mom Instagram fan account shared a clip from her podcast. They shared the part when Kailyn addressed Briana’s not-so-nice Christmas gift.

“Briana DeJesus meant the treadmill for Kail to have something to run beside her mouth, considering it was ordered the same night Kail took to social media to start a rumor that Bri and Chris Lopez slept together,” the caption read. “(Kail left that part out of the discussion).”

The Teen Mom fan account asked the following: “Whose perspective is right in the situation?”

• “Kail is never the problem. She needs to get over herself and stop playing the victim.”
• “If you’re going to speak about it, then mention it all! Address the rumor you started!”
