Josh Duggar May Have Access To Tablet Behind Bars

TLC, Josh Duggar

Though Josh Duggar is behind bars, information about his current arrangement is slowly becoming available. As you may know, the former TLC star was found guilty of both receiving and possessing child pornography. He’s now awaiting sentencing, which will take up to four months. At that point, he will move from the Washington County Detention Center in Arkansas to a federal facility. There are no federal prisons in Arkansas.

On Tuesday, Katie Joy of Without a Crystal Ball exclusively obtained access to Josh’s visitation log. Visitations are currently done virtually and via phone or video chat. According to the log, Josh’s wife, Anna Duggar, has been the only family member to call him so far.

It’s unclear if Josh has access to a computer while in jail. Due to the nature of his crimes, it doesn’t seem likely that he would have much internet access, but those details are unknown.

On Wednesday, Katie Joy shared additional information about Josh’s protective custody arrangement. These new details reveal some interesting facts about what’s happening with Josh now. Until now, there have been very few updates.

Is Josh Duggar able to use a tablet in jail?

Katie Joy revealed that she spoke with an officer at the Washington County Detention Center. In her newest post, she writes, “Some individuals get limited access to a tablet in their cells. The officer was not certain if Josh was allowed a tablet.”

In the comments section of her post, Duggar family critics are saying that they don’t think it’s a good idea for Josh to have access to a tablet or any other electronic devices.

Someone else writes, “Watch out. He might install a partition on his tablet.” In case you didn’t know, Josh installed a partition on his computer, which allowed him to bypass Covenant Eyes. Covenant Eyes is computer software that Josh and Anna set up so she would be notified of his computer activity. Of course, behind bars, Josh likely wouldn’t have the opportunity to install a partition.

Nonetheless, if he does have access to a tablet, what he’s allowed to do on the device may be restricted.

So, do you think that Josh Duggar would be able to use a tablet in jail? Or do you think that he may have different conditions due to his charges? Share your thoughts in the comments section below. For more news about the Duggar family, come back to TV Shows Ace.
