‘1000-Lb. Sisters:’ Misty Says Tammy’s Priorities Are Whack
During tonight’s episode of 1000-Lb. Sisters, Tammy and Amy’s sister Misty admits Tammy’s priorities are whack. While Amy and Misty did not spend very much time together or talking during tonight’s episode… They were very much on the same page when it came to all things Tammy. Likewise, Chris Combs was also on a similar wavelength.

1000-Lb. Sisters: Misty criticizes Tammy’s priorities
During tonight’s episode, Chris Combs finally gets his weight loss surgery. Misty admits shes a bit worried about Tammy. She asks her several times how she feels about Chris getting surgery without her. Tammy tells her sister that she is proud of Chris. And, she never expected him to put off his surgery for her. Tammy adds that the same was true when it was time for Amy to have her surgery.
The subject shifts as they discuss Tammy’s ex-boyfriend the BBW King. Misty admits the entire family was happy to see him gone. Sure, Misty and the rest of the family would love to see Tammy in a happy relationship. But, they fear that is something she can’t really get until she drops the weight. For the moment, the family worries only a feeder would date Tammy. Likewise, fans of the show worry someone would only get with Tammy for clout.
Speaking to the camera, Misty admits she believes Tammy’s priorities are out of whack. She notes that her sister needs to stop worrying so much about love and start worrying about her health instead.
Amy questions if she’ll ever lose the weight
Amy Halterman admitted that she believed she would lose all the color in her hair and turn grey before her sister dropped any weight. Unfortunately, it sounds as though Amy has finally given up on her sister. She admitted she did not really believe Tammy was ready to lose weight. And, there was nothing the family could help her until she reached that point on her own.

That whole family needs to stop enabling Tammy. What’s her motivation to want to lose weight when the whole family does everything for her, and if they protest all she needs to do is throw a temper tantrum and they’re right back doing for her? She has a nasty selfish and entitled attitude and it comes from exactly that! Hold her accountable!
I agree fully.The family have tried so hard to help Tammy but its up to Tammy to achieve healthier life style.She just has to get in with it an if she doesnt then tuff, sge made her bed now sge has to lay in it.You can lead a horse to water but you cant make him drink 😉
You are absolutely correct. The entire family and everyone else has enabled her her entire life. She’s a 30 plus year old 600 plus pound toddler. Aside from that she lacks the inclination, capacity or the common sense to lose the weight. You cant help those who wont help themselves. Its tragic but she is doomed. Even an intervention failed.
Unbelievable, did she really say that they are ‘lucky”? Lucky that she isn’t bed bound, that they don’t have to turn her over, bathe her or wipe her a**. They have created a monster a 35 year old spoiled brat.

Tammy needs to go back to rehab to keep her on track, an mental help to cope with her emotions, her mind set is all wrong. I dont think she can do this without 24hr supervision she needs Dr Now to kick her up the butt
Tlc needs to cut Tammy out of the show, they give her money for the series and she just spends it on food
