‘General Hospital’ Weekly Spoilers: Sasha and Brando’s Unbearable Heartache
General Hospital spoilers for December 13-17, 2021, reveal Sasha Gilmore and Brando Corbin getting the worst news of their lives. They now have a monumentally impossible decision to make.
General Hospital Spoilers: Baby Liam’s Fate
Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) had an almost idyllic pregnancy, but the story couldn’t stay idyllic as Sasha’s labor resulted in a placental abruption the doctors didn’t notice in time, resulting in a C-section that was performed too late and a baby boy deprived of oxygen in the womb. Sasha and Brando (Johnny Wactor) hoped beyond hope that the treatment to reduce the baby’s brain swelling would work, but Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) has to inform the parents it’s not meant to be. Their baby has no brain function.
Britt explains that Liam could live for several years on a ventilator but he will never have a real chance at life. They need to decide whether to let the baby go or not. Brando thinks it’s best to let their son die peacefully but Sasha is distraught and not sure what to do. They are going to need all the help they can get from their family and friends to have the strength to do what is right for their son.
Brad’s Good Fortune, Peter’s Bad Fortune?
If Peter August (Wes Ramsey) actually manages to die from prison poison (we are not holding our breath for this), it looks like it will be at the hands of Brad Cooper (Parry Shen), which is as good a person as any to get the job done. Peter does end up back at GH, but can he be saved.
Meanwhile, it’s also time for Brad’s long-awaited parole hearing. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) put in an appearance, but will the parole board let Brad free anyway? It’s just what Selina Wu (Lydia Cook) wanted Sonny to arrange if she arranged Peter’s death.
Port Charles Happenings
Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) grow closer this week as she deals with Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) death, but will Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) ever make his way over to see her and help her mourn Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth), as Franco was his best friend. Drew does manage to see another old friend when he reunites with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) Aunt Stella (Vernee Watson) also arrives back in Port Charles this week.
Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), Terry Randolph (Cassandra James), and Elizabeth all discuss their respective love lives during an evening out, while Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) share a close moment. Finally, it’s time for Leo’s appointment with a specialist. Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) is a nervous wreck about what she might learn and Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) has to be there to calm her down.
