‘1000-Lb. Sisters’: Tammy Slaton Threatens Nurse Tisa
A new preview for 1000-Lb. Sisters reveals Tammy Slaton threatening her home health aide Nurse Tisa. Speaking to the producer, the TLC personality opens up about how the discussion of walking to the mailbox made her feel. Tammy explains that Tisa has no idea how she feels or how much pain she is in. Furthermore, she fesses up that the home health aide is just lucky she didn’t get cussed out.
Nurse Tisa on a mission to get Tammy out of her wheelchair
In a new preview dropped on YouTube, Nurse Tisa reveals she’s on a mission. A mission to get Tammy Slaton out of that wheelchair. The home health aide explains that she promised Amy Halterman she would do everything she could to push Tammy to get up and move around. The last thing Tammy’s family and friends want is for her to become bed-bound. They, however, fear that is what will happen to her soon if she doesn’t start to lose some weight.
After showing Nurse Tisa her new swimsuit, the home health aide inquires what they are going to do today. Tisa proceeds to point out it is a very nice day outside and questions if walking to the mailbox is on the table. When Nurse Tisa realizes Tammy is not interested in going for a walk, she tells her she is going to go get her bed cleaned up. She adds she wants Tammy to think about going for the walk while she works on her bed.

Tammy Slaton notes that her home health aide is “crazy” and she’s not interested in going to the mailbox. The TLC personality proceeds to explain Tisa has no idea how much pain she’s in on a daily basis. Tammy paints the picture of how painful it is just for her to get up and walk to the bathroom. So, she’s in a position where she doesn’t get up unless it is absolutely necessary. And, she doesn’t consider walking to the mailbox to be something she has to do.
Tammy Slaton also tells the producer Nurse Tisa was very close to getting cursed out for trying to push her. The TLC personality also threatened to shut down if the home health aide continued to push the issue.

Tammy depends on amy too much tammy needs to get her arse out her chair and start loosing weight
Tammy has a personality disorder. She is self entitled, thinks the family owes her everything. She is unkind and thinks not of others.If it can’t be all about her, then she’s angry.
As for her new relationship, it is sad to see her be victimized by these guys with a fetish for fat women. But, Tammy seems to understand all of that and is not bothered by it. Her recent comment that if anyone got past her walls, they would not regret it was bizarre. The look in her eyes when she said that…..it was a new side to Tammy. But, I feel that is the real Tammy. She enjoys the fetish as much as her victimizers. Jerry and Phillip found a wiling victim. Tammy is not interested in losing weight. Eating is her life and she won’t give that up. Her disease of addiction requires vigilance, commitment and a desire to get healthy. She has none of those elements in her toolbox. In fact, Tammy’s losing weight toolbox is empty. She didn’t want to talk to the psychologist that Dr Smith recommended. Because of the men she hunts on BBW and similar sites, Tammy feels loved, important. She seems not to understand that Phillips behavior makes it clear that caring about what is good for Tammy is not on his agenda. He even threatens to leave if she gets under 300 and Tammy said she’s good with that. That tells us everything we need to know about Tammy’s intentions where her weight is concerned. The comments she makes that she thinks are hilarious are like….what??? The stuff she says is not funny but she seems unable to understand what is appropriate and what is not really funny, but is instead rather sad. I feel for her and I don’t have much hope for her future.
Tammy is a predator she’s not a victim of these men. Tammy goes looking for men that she can use to for feel all her food addictions and all the work it takes. Tammy isn’t gullible she very in turned
This gal is headed for a very early grave. I knew a man that weighed over 800lbs and he died young. Its sad but she seems not to want to help herself.
If she would have learned how to eat right, she would have not gotten so heavy, so it’s her own fault, that lady is only trying to help her!!!

She is a slob! Deserves NOTHING!
She has no intention of losing weight. She gets all kind of attention by being a slob. She can’t even wear clean clothes that don’t have holes in them to be on international TV or even to go to the Dr.s office. She is rude and has a filthy mouth.
This woman makes me angry. “I can’t do it because I’m in pain” no sympathy, it’s your own fault. I look at how much she’s changed over the course of this show and my god, she’s gotten so much bigger. Its not sad to see anymore, it’s infuriating yet laughable. It’s always everyone else’s problem/fault but hers 😒
She needs to choose, in her own kind of language, to, “feel like shit while losing weight” or “ feel like shit while getting closer to the grave.” Either way, the day-to-day feels like crap, right? “Choose the right place to feel shitty girl, like in a place that serves you food you hate but will make you lose weight” You’ll get more life out of it and years later, it will only be a blip of time.
You won’t regret it and learn to be more appreciative of people who might hurt themselves permanently by pushing you around…that’s a paying job for most. The law allows people to have to carry no more then 75 pounds around for safety reasons, anymore weight, they can sue their company for that type of abuse. You have to have empathy because your weight hurts you too so ya get it?
