The Bachelorette Katie Thurston is getting by with some help from her friends. She recently expressed her thoughts about her now ex-fiance Blake Moynes and their split. Nobody knows for sure who ended things. However, Katie and Blake remain friends and are navigating their new normal. Katie is getting out and living again. Katie Thurston thankful for friends support through breakup
It looks like The Bachelorette Katie Thurston is getting back out there, at least with friends. She shared some of her outings on Instagram. One post shared that escape rooms were much funnier when one is “drunk.” Then, it seems she decided to head to Disneyland with John Hersey and some other friends.
John has been doing a great job occupying Katie while she’s recovering from her split with Blake. He shared videos on Instagram Stories about their time at Disney. It looks as if they are having a blast. Katie also shared a photo of her with a child. It says, Enjoying life through the lens of a six year old ✨#disneyland #family #californiaadventure.”
Taking her on a trip to Disneyland is not the only way friends and family are showing their support to Katie. She also shared a photo of a bouquet of white flowers with a card. The flowers were sent by Chris Conran and Alana Milne. The card read, “Don’t let anyone treat you like free salsa. You are guac, girl. GUAC.”
Katie captioned the photo saying, “My family and friends continue to rally around me and I am so fortunate.”
Her split with Blake
Katie Thurston and Blake Moynes announced they were separating after spending six months engaged. According to their mutual release, they said they have respect and love for one another. However, they agreed that they are not compatible as life partners for the long run.
The split occurred just after Blake returned to Canada after working in Africa for a few weeks. Bachelor Nation was shocked to learn the two had broken up. Many expected them to stay together.
Both Blake and Katie seem to be dealing with their heartbreak in their own way. Each has been thanking fans for their support and love.
It has been noted that Katie still hopes to find love and marry one day.
