Hallmark ‘Christmas Waltz’ Star, ‘DWTS Jr’ Winner, JT Church Headed To Broadway!
JT Church who starred in Hallmark’s 2020 Christmas Waltz, and was the Dancing With The Stars Jr. champion, has some pretty big news. He is Broadway-bound. Moreover, he will be starring with a couple of heavyweights in one of the biggest productions to hit the New York Theatre scene in quite some time.

JT Church Headed To Broadway!
When you have won the only season of Dancing With The Stars Jr., and starred in Hallmark’s number one 2020 movie, Christmas Waltz, what could be next for JT Church? How about Broadway? He is headed to star in a show that stars not one, but two double Tony winners.
According to JT, who posted on his Instagram, he has some incredible news to share. “THE SECRETS OUT!!! My Broadway dreams are coming true! I am so excited to finally be able to announce that I have been cast in @musicmanbwaystarring the incredible @thehughjackman and @suttonlenore. Big thanks and love to @warrencarlyle and @jerryjzaks for this opportunity! Thank you to my agents @rachel.altman80 and @ellengnyc with @paradigmtalentagency who have been with me thru this process for 2 years! And thank you to my family, friends, and dance studio @clubdanceofficial for supporting and training me. I can’t wait to sing, dance and spread some much needed Broadway cheer 🎭”
The Music Man is one of the most highly anticipated shows to hit Broadway in years. Starring Sutton Foster (Younger, Boneheads), and Hugh Jackman (X-Men, Les Misérables), this should be a spectacular show.
Christmas Waltz, DWTSJr Stars Respond To JT Church’s Announcement!
Immediately after JT Church made the announcement, his Christmas Waltz co-star, fellow dancer, and actor, Will Kemp shared his congratulations. “Boom! Yaaas!! So happy for you – give @thehughjackman & @shulerhensley a Halloween squeeze from their Wolf Man! #VanHelsing.” Of course, Kemp starred alongside Jackman in the 2004 movie, Van Helsing.
Also, Christmas Waltz director, Michael Damian wrote, “Congratulations GT! We’re so very proud of you!! PS your movies on tomorrow night.”
Lastly, Dancing With The Stars Jr. pro, Kamri Peterson wrote, “YESSSSSSSSSS I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU! Can’t wait to come watch you.” To that, JT replied, “@kamri_dancer YES U BETTER COME SEE ME.”

The Music Man Stars Sutton Foster, Hugh Jackman
JT Church will star alongside Sutton Foster and Hugh Jackman in the classic Meredith musical, The Music Man. Although JT has not revealed his role, Foster will play Marian, the spinster librarian. Jackman will portray Professor Harold Hill. He is a fast-talking salesman pretending to collect funds for instruments for the town’s marching band.
Although he is planning on swindling the naive townspeople, something dramatically changes in Harold’s life.
Originally, The Music Man was going to open on Broadway in the fall of 2020. However, due to the world pandemic, everything has changed. Now, the Broadway revival will open on February 10, 2022, at Winter Garden Theatre, in New York City.
