Although there has recently been much talk about Lori Loughlin returning to When Hope Calls, obtaining permission to work in Canada and attending weddings in Cabo, she has quietly been working behind the scenes making amends.

Lori Loughlin Has Paid Scholarships For Two Students
Lori Loughlin has done the time, and according to US Magazine, she is looking to “put the past behind her.” An insider confirmed that the former Hallmark star has done all that as required of her. Now she is doing something more. Something that a lot of critics had said she should be forced to do. She is helping two other students through university.
The insider explained that the actress has “privately arranged to put two students through four years of college.” This means she is paying tuition and other unspecified expenses that will amount to over $500,000.
No other details have been shared on the students, how she selected the students or where the students are studying.
Lori Loughlin Has Completed All Legal Requirements
The insider close to Lori Loughlin has also shared the details of what Lori has paid off to complete her sentence. “She has served her time in jail and completed her probation, community service and paid all of her court fines.”
What are those details?
She worked 100 hours of community service with Project Angel Food. The Garage Sale Mystery star continues to work with this charity. In addition, she paid out $150,000 in fines related to the College Admissions Scandal.

Unfortunately, the insider says that although Lori Loughlin has done the time, there is “this stigma attached to her by people who don’t want her to have any success.” However, those who are closest to her, including her former WCTH costars, including Erin Krakow, have been very supportive of her.
In many ways, Loughlin has started to move on. The former Hallmark CEO, Bill Abbott, who was at the helm when the network fired her when the scandal broke, has hired her elsewhere. She is going to reprise her role as Abigail Stanton. However, this time, it is for GAC Family.
She will be in When Hope Calls: A Country Christmas Parts 1 & 2, along with Carter Ryan, who portrays Cody Stanton. Ryan also was taken off of the show during Season 6, when Loughlin was fired.
As for returning to Hallmark, that does not seem to be in the cards. They have made it clear she is not returning to the network anytime soon. Therefore, that stigma may refer to Hollywood just as much as it may refer to television fans.
