Chrissy Teigen Admits To Loving Cheap Sushi
Chrissy Teigen’s fans have always adored her for being relatable and down-to-earth. She loves her fans and she enjoys being transparent with them about her life. On Sunday, Teigen made a shocking confession to fans, proving once again, that not all celebs are obsessed with glitz and glamour.
Date Night With John Legend
Despite having been married to musical genius John Legend for nearly a decade, Chrissy Teigen still likes to go out on dates with her husband. Fans have always admired the fairytale romance this two still seem to have, even with two kids and massive careers. Like many other parents, these two celebs love to go out on the town once in a while, child-free. On Sunday, this dynamic duo enjoyed what Chrissy describes as a super low-key date night – and their destination might surprise you.
Chrissy’s Vintage 90’s Date Night Vibe
In her Instagram post, Chrissy shared a photo of herself and John standing in the foyer of their family’s home in California. The celebrity lovers are both dressed all in black, exuding a sexy, casual but stylish vibe. John is wearing dark black jeans with fancy, leather, wellington style boots that rise to mid-shin. He paired the dark pants with a black top and a black leather bomber jacket.
John’s former model wife, Chrissy Teigen rocked out in an all-black ensemble that could have been stolen from the 90’s set of Clueless. This celebrity chef wore a pair of flowy black pants that had a super high-rise waistband that ended above the navel. Her toned midriff was bare. She also wore a simple bandeau style black tube top underneath a long sleeve, waist-length cardigan. She accessorized with a simple black strappy sandal and a large furry black purse. Chrissy wore her shoulder-length locks down and parted in the center. She added even more 90’s flare with a tiny braid near her face. The pair held hands and smirked at the camera coyly.
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend Have Dinner … In a Strip Mall
In her post, Chrissy tells followers that she and John were heading a local sushi restaurant called Matsumoto. She reveals that she sharing her favorite local go-to’s with fans because it creates crazy amounts of support for small, quality businesses and restaurants. The restaurant that speaks of in this post is located on Beverly Blvd. She comments that the eatery is super small and casual. It’s literally located in a tiny strip mall, smushed between a light bulb store and a drycleaning business.
While most celebs are bragging about luxury and expensive dining experiences, Chrissy seemed more excited about how cheap the food was. She shares that most of the sushi rolls and the appetizers are $10 and under. The celebrity chef also reported that the most expensive item on the menu was supreme toro sushi. It reportedly cost $22 for two pieces. In terms of the toro, Chrissy says it’s out of this world and encourages everyone to go check them out.
This will likely be the first and last time you ever hear someone brag about eating cheap sushi… and have them live to tell the tale. Fortunately for fans, Chrissy Teigen has made a living knowing her way around a kitchen, so we know she’s not going to intentionally suggest you go out and get food poisoning on your night date night.
